I just looked through a few of the pages of actual production paint jobs. SS needs to step up there game. I dont get how there prices are going up but the quality of the figure is going down horribly.

Picked up mine at the booth on Friday. Guess I lucked out. Mine seem perfect in every way. No flaws in the armor, and all four eyes look proper.

Well, everyone has a right to be heard...just rally the guys who got good samples to balance the scales a bit.

My brother and I picked ours up thursday. Han's eye is ^^^^ed but the body isn't too bad. His chest armor's paint is ^^^^ed too so we will be requesting a prompt replacement.

...still have to open Luke, so stay tuned.


Edit: Luke was cool...will give him a closer inspection in the morning. The only glaring problem is the very loose left leg. I will try Nash's fix before deciding to ship it back.

Hey you guys.. where is the box located that is on luke's belt (that the hook fits into?) Was it attached to yours?

I'm looking all over, and i just can't find it.
Maybe they left it out on mine?
Sorry.. i've had so little sleep, and i'm kinda doing a wtf to try and find it.

Mine kinda suck. I'm probably sending it back for a new one, if they have one, just because of how unhappy i am with production on this. The luke helmet i have has half the black paint on the head strip just completely chipped off and exposed as white. The helmets are glued crooked.. the eyes (while centered at least...) are cross eyed.. or point down and to the left, and the other up and to the right.
Armor is way more flayed out than even the original troopers to me.. and that seriously bugs me..

holsters look like crap compared to the original troopers..

While i do admire that they tried to fix certain things.. this package is just FULL of HUGE flaws.. not just random 1 in 100 flaws..
I'm really quite upset that after that much money, these have so much wrong with them. I make a lot of excuses for sideshow.. but there isn't much to excuse here. These are near hot toys prices, and are edging that way more and more every day...
and the quality is 1/10th of hot toys.
Really sad.
Wish i'd had the energy to check them out at the con.. but i was to exhausted. Guess i'll have to try and send it back the old fashioned way :/

Sadly, if you get even the least bit upset.. they pay no attention to you. But i'll be trying to point out the problems as nice as possible, and hope they listen to me. It's NEVER a good idea, when looking to improve a situation.. to just say.. THIS SUCKS! WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!



But that is kind of a no brainer..

I'll be asking for new Chest armour for luke (several blemishes in the paintwork and wonky shoulder strap)
Also Han has some sloppy paintwork on his hairline, so maybe a new head, but eyes are straight so do I risk it?
There are also several marks all over armour but pretty minor and not visible on shelf.
Over all I like them - but could have been so much more!

Oh, tighter joints than on both my stormies appart from Lukes Elbows, which suck.

SS is usually EXTREMELY generous when it comes to customer satisfaction, so Im sure everyone will be making their issues known and I dont think any of the "complainers" believe that these issues are purposeful. It's just that when you spend $200 clams, you'd expect it to be QC'd at the factory, not from SS's distribution center. I would imagine that this is costing them some out-of-pocket to fix all these problems. Goddluvem for doing it, though.
