Great points. I will say that unless I can by the EX I will not buy it. If not for me having and having the 1/5 Harley on order. I could see me getting this.

BUT!!!! I only buy one PF a year. I bought my one for 2013. There is a rule in business. If you have 10 people to talk the place of one person. Then keep pricing it till you have less then 10. I know this will only cost SSC less then $40 to make and ship. I make something that cost less then .20 cents and sell them for $3.00 each. Its business.

In the end, if you like it, if you want it. Just buy it.

Yea, that ain't happening my friend. I don't know what business you are in but with all the artists involved, licenses, etc, there is NO WAY they are that cheap to make. If they are making $100 off each piece, that might make more sense.

yes I know SS is looking at this now laughing at right us. I still don't see why the reps dont co e here to settle this once and for all. Same with the wolverine LSF thread. They can end it right now if they just come on here to say what happen. why not just come on and settle this and be done with it? Come on SS?

If they could have a count down on how many are left, then why is there a TBD amound today on the ES?

They rarely disclose ES this early, even once it has gone to waitlist.

As for cancellations, I was referring to those who chose to cancel before they get charged the NRD. People get cold feet.

And yes, Ramatuelle. This is a practice that has gone on for years. Sell outs are subject to fluctuations when you have a combination of indecisive buyers and lenient cancellation policies. They aren't as lenient as they once were, but they're still pretty understanding. They are aware of the confusion that can ensue and they have worked hard at finding the balance between optimizing sales and satisfying their customer base.

What you said is where most of the cost comes from. To make something is very cheap. You also need to add the cost of the box and getting it there.

I maybe off by $10 or $20 still. I don't mind them making money. After if I don't think its worth what they want. I will not buy it.

This is why I like the NRD. I can understand coldfeet but if the item gets sold out. Then someone who wanted it just miss out. I don't do Wait Lists. If I miss it, I miss it and move on.

What are you talking about? It was exactly at this point (low inventory) that the Punisher ES was revealed. That was four days after the PO went up.

I think your giving SS far too much benefit of the doubt. So it went from 20 to so many cancellations that its back to TBD, come on!

You know I wouldn't be surprised if, in a time not to far from now, we don't have ANY SSC REPS around these parts. According to what i heard the community lost the sculptors who were around because people just can't be happy and have to go on and on. I have read a few people HOPING SSC ALEX will come into a thread and speak, but I don't blame her for not doing that. It isnt her job to take flack from annoyed fanboys. If I was her I would stay far away from this whinning and complaining... If she says glitch people call BS.. If she says it was a change of heart to I crease the ES because Harley is selling better then projected ... CBG explodes and people call trickery and BS... Total lose lose situation.

Does anyone really take CBG seriously ? As far I can tell, everyone who wanted this statue ordered it the first day myself included. Then you had CBG come in and use his warped logic and self-deprecating stupidity to ***** about a $10 increase.He was also going to actually use some self-control and stick to he newly found principles and not order the statue. A Couple of days later he sees only a few HQ are left and so he buys it, only to cancel it the same night.Now he wants a representative from SS to offer him an explanation...on a statue he is not currently buying.At best the dude is a joke/troll at worst the thread becomes an analysis in regards to the way his mind works.

In the end whether it was a glitch of a change of heart on the ES on SSCs part people should buy what they want to buy. People agonize over these decisions when there should be TWO main factors: do you want it, and can you afford it. Answer yes to BOTH then you buy it, answer no to either then you don't. Once you get past the learning curve this isn't brain surgery.

This is logic. Do I want Harley? No. Can I afford her? Yes. You really do need to answer YES to both questions.

As for you CBG, you seem hesitant so I personally wouldn't pull the trigger on Harley. When I saw Supes PF, I wanted him no doubts at all. I waited for that PO and within the first fifteen minutes he went up, I ordered. No hesitation. No regrets. If WW is stunning I will do the same. I don't have to ponder or think it over. If you do, that's probably a sign you should pass on the purchase as you might regret buying her later.

Spidey, at $350-$400 a statue, a sculpt should look INCREDIBLE. Why shouldn't consumers be able to vent? So what? I like CBG. These threads would certainly be a boring read if everyone were drinking the Koolaid like certain people all the time and saying "SS can do no wrong, they're just sooooooo amazing. I love them. Everything they do is simply perfect! Price increases and less bang for your dollar and a higher ES is fantastic!" Yes, SS is an AMAZING company, but they have messed up plenty of times in the past, and they actually THANKED their customers in their thank you vid for pushing them to do better. I think it is great that so many people dig SS but I also think it is great when people call them out. It forces them to do better. Harley is NOT one of their best nor was the Supes Ex (Reg Supes was brilliant though). But... they've done plenty of incredible pieces too. When they're good, they're spectacular. Leave CBG alone.
