Because then your cutting into profits. It'd be like Sony shipping 15mil Playstation 4's and then still having demand so they ship another 15mil. They aren't going to lower the price until demand goes down.

And I agree with a post earlier. If Joker came out now, his ES would probably be higher.

You are probably correct but have you seen the number of Jokers on eBay? I think they have over saturated the market with Harley and they will have regulars on the shelf for a long time after shipping. I am still a newb with this hobby but based on tons of research on past statues this looks like an insane amount for ES but definitely hoping I am wrong on this.

I guess it depends on what you consider "mass market". Are you talking 50,000+? Because we've already seen pieces that high from other companies and they're still collectible pieces. They just don't command prices in the aftermarket at 3 to 4 times retail.
