Bossk arrived today, definitely one of the better figures.

One thing I've noticed stated in all the reviews is that the neck and mouth don't move much, but that isn't true. The neck really has around 40º of movement, which allows you to open the mouth much more than I've seen in any of the photos so far. The problem is the the neck joint kinda wobbles, so it feels like you've hit the max right away, but the joint allows for quite a bit movement.

Ah, Bossk.

Yet another one to add to the list of ones I'll never see in any store.

Bossk doesn't look a whole lot like movie Bossk, but that is one awesome looking figure. Really hope I can find him.

I was curious how the jaw worked so I took it apart. I'm impressed, it's very sturdy and won't be breaking or falling off accidentally.
It's a got a large solid hinge joint and a ton of sculpted and painted details on both the roof and tongue sections on the mouth.

The sculpt is oddly soft on the arm and shin scales, the 1/18 version has more detail in that regard. Also the torso movement is much more restricted that I would like. Still a great figure, I got mine off Amazon, paid a few extra bucks but worth the missing headaches.

And here's my review of the Bossk figure. One of the best in the line so far!

Nice review! And yes, Bossk is supposed to have the claws at the back of his feet (SSC also gave their Tauntaun three toes instead of the correct four, so they aren't very "foot accurate" these days:lol) though those claws aren't visible in most pics. And the missing canister is correct.

It does and now i can not,not see it. I hope his accessories do not include a drink and some pills.

Cheers, thanks for clearing that up! :)

Recently I started thinking about whether I should sell my Star Wars 6" Black Series figures. But it's the only Star Wars line that I've been able to start from the very beginning and be able to get all of them to date.

And seeing them all together like this is pretty cool. So I'll probably keep them despite a huge focus on 1/6th scale Star Wars this year. Hopefully the budget can continue to support both :)

That's funny because my Walmart doesn't.

Or my TRU. Or my Target. Or my anything.

It's weird if someone didn't know these were 6" they could easily be mistaken for 3 3/4" figures from afar.

I know this isn't a Black Series figure, but once I built him up he DEFINITELY took the place of the Hasbro 6" Vader. The cape looks great, but I will admit its kind of funky in its function but everything else screams Vader like the Black Series figure never did. The decals are very nice, and it may require a little paint but its totally worth it for the price.
