Re: Hasbro line officially dead!

I hope the original photographer doesn't mind, I hosted on my photobucket for everyone to see.

Re: Hasbro line officially dead!

Here is what we BETTER see. Toht and Dietrich, Marion and Suited Belloq, Indy and Mechanic, German Indy and German Soldier.. anything beyond that is gravy.

They also had Satipo sculpted. Someone found a prototype of the tough german from the truck scene. There were also rumors of a Club Obi-Wan wave. Don't know if that ever made it to sculpt.

But I'll take anything and everything I can get.

Re: Hasbro line officially dead!

I remember the second raiders wave being Indy (German disguise), Marion (white dress), Satipo, Big German and Toht. Was there anyone else?

Re: Hasbro line officially dead!

Nope, it was those five.

On one of the other boards they think they see the big sherpa with flames on his sleeve. There could be more waves.

Re: Hasbro line officially dead!

I hope someone at SDCC asks Hasbro if they are really going to release these and if production is in full swing again. I'd like to know their plans based on what we are seeing so far and if it's going to go beyond what is just being shown.

Funny, this seems to be generating more buzz than Sideshow's stuff, ATM.

Re: Hasbro line officially dead!

Well, it looks like they are saying that it is a video game tie-in.

Interesting. Why can't they just release indiana Jones figures and call it what they are?

Because Hasbro is under the misguided notion that toys only sell if they have a multimedia tie-in. They originally said they wouldn't release these unless there was another IJ movie OR some kind of media tie-in. Looks like they found one.

they can call it whatever they like, just make the damn figs ;)

Re: Hasbro line officially dead!

Make them for their true market-- collectors. Kids don't buy these things enough to make them viable. Offer them on the website to collectors and go on to make Indy 3 3/4 figs for the next several years...

Re: Hasbro line officially dead!

Maybe it's some old game that's being rereleased with the figures? Most 2 figure tie ins (comic packs, dvd packs) sell the figures around 'old' product.

Re: Hasbro line officially dead!

Title of the thread is funny now since the line is back from the "dead". ZOMBIE!
