Yup, been waiting for Agent Nelson to finally blow up. It was awesome!!

Nice ending too. Going to be all out war. . .

I think Harrow takes out Rosetti.

Wow, awesome episode.

Damn, Van Alden went completely Zod on their asses. :lol I'm curious what's going to happen to him if they're not leaving.

Wasn't expecting the bomb, just figured they'd be shot or something. Epic scene.
^ It'd be cool to see Richard take out Rosetti but if he does end up going out that way, I don't think it will be anytime soon. I get the feeling that Rosetti will be around for a while. Then again I felt the same of Munya.

I liked Billie though. :( :dunno

I'm just waiting for more Chalky White. :impatient:

I still love Capone. Every scene he's in I'm on the edge of my seat. You just feel the change of the wind coming and he's becoming more of a leader.

There are two things I liked about Billie's character:

1) She represented the spirit of The Roaring 20's! Everything focused on youth and fun. She had that spirit. Obviously, that's what Nucky liked about her also.

2) She was the one person who Nucky TRULY seemed to care about; not just obsession, but love. In addition, she was the one thing in his life that he had no control over which made him feel vulnerable.

I thought she definitely added to the storyline and helped show Nucky in a different light. She exposed his capacity to care as well as his insecurity and fear of losing control.

I'm glad she's gone so we can move on with the story but her character definitely brought something to the table.

Did not expect Owen to go out like that. . . .

I did. I knew he was a goner as soon as he and Margaret started making their plans.

As did I...Just in case...

...but I think that Evil is referring to the manner in which Owen go out.

I would have thought that they would have shown him go out in a blaze of glory.

I haven't made up my mind as to whether I think his off screen death worked. As soon as the box was delivered, I thought his head was in it. The route that the directors /writers took this episode worked from a story telling point of view, i.e. having the first portion of Owen and Margaret's conversation broken up by the meeting in Nucky's office, then having Margaret flashback to the rest of their conversation, but somehow I feel cheated by not seeing how Owen got offed.

Also during the scene in the hospital, I knew Margaret was pregnant as soon as the doctor remarked that she looked pale. Now, the question i, does she keep Slater's baby, or does she self abort using the bad milk method?

I keep waiting for Van Alden to snap and turn into a monster. It's always bubbling just under the surface, they need to let him loose.

The scene between Gaston Means and Jess Smith was also quite good.

This episode was pretty bleak. It sorta reminded me of how scary it was seeing the violence in casino or good fellas as a kid. I watch those movies now and the violence is still pretty mean but it doesn't put that anxiety in my chest. But seeing someone be beat with an aluminum bat and then burried alive as a kid is pretty shocking.

Anyways...that shovel scene really put that lump in my chest. And then the crate scene even more so. It kinda had a godfather horse head vibe of emotionality to it.

I can't wait to see gyp go down.

And I hope Harrow can get through this season w/ his girl and tommy.

Didn't expect Slater to go out this soon, but after his early convo with Margaret you knew something was going to happen...but damn, that was intense. Like others have said I figured he'd receive a more respectful death.

I naturally assumed that the guy in the box was the man Rosetti beat to death with the shovel because that scene took place not long before the box was delivered...although it wouldn't have made much sense for it to be him. When the box opened I was shocked.

It might just be me, but I'm growing tired of Nucky. It seems like he's always being stepped on, he's always losing his battles.
After he shot Jimmy and seeing the teaser for season 3, I thought he was going to really kick things up a notch and be a full-blown mobster this season...but instead he's still losing control and being walked all over.

I like Margaret's character, but I kinda hope she and Nucky part ways.

Yea that was a brutal death. Would like to have seen him go out. My wife and looking at facebook, all kinds of chicks are weeping. He was a good character.

Every crime empire falls eventually. Slips here and there until it is gone.

Nucky always seems to be a step behind everyone else all the time now. He's gone from a mastermind in season 1 to somone who couldn't find his own ass with both hands, a flashlight and a map.

^ Was he even a mastermind in season 1? I never got the feeling that he was above anyone, really. It's been a while since I've seen the first season though.

It's been a while for me too, but I remember him having his **** together in season 1. He took care of his business, he had an iron grip on that town, he knew how to work people and when someone needed to get dead, they got dead. The way he is now, it's surprising to me that anyone at all still follows or does business with him.

It's just like in real life: after you get married, none of your friends listen to you anymore.:rotfl
