For a momemnt, I thoguht Nucky sent in Richard to take care of Rosetti but he was on his own mission.

harrow was great, just wish
Gillian didnt survive

Yeah, I assumed there was going to be a lethal dose in that syringe. She's about as useless as Margaret at this point, can't imagine why they'd want to keep her around.

A bit let-down by the finale. Harrow's part was sweet.
Thought Gyp would get a better death. And be taken out by a cool character. Would have loved to see Capone get him. The women in the show are so boring. I kind of want to see next season bring about the downfall of Nucky and the rise of Capone and Luciano and just end.

Final wasn't all that great to be honest, not bad, lots of gun play, but again story and character wise, not that great.

Gillian should have died, she is a character who should have it coming. Margaret should of said at the end "l am pregnant and screw you", she's gone from the show, can't stand her any more. There should of been more of a wrap up with Harrow, more of a happy ending instead of walking away.

Again Van Alden no where to be seen. He mised well not even be in next season since. They never even did anything with him in this season. One of the biggest wastedcharacters.

Final thoughs for me was this season sucked, l would give it a 4/10. it felt like season one and two was a movie and this season was a crappy tv movie spin off almost, kind of had that feel. They had better change it up completely next season or l am not going to bother.

Has anyone seen Harrow's Guiness commercial?

Yeah, pretty cool. I recognized him right away, but it took the wife a few minutes.

Richard was awesome in this episode, as was Nucky's master stroke at the end. You could call it dumb luck that everything fell together...

ith him offering up Remus, and by proxy, Harry Daugherty to Mellon in return for running the Overholt Distillery...which then was used as bait to Rothstein ("Big bait gets the big fish") to get Rothstein to have Masseria call off his support to Rossetti. Now it looks like Rothstein might get indicted for the Overholt distillery.

But some could also say it was providence. :lol

How would Rosetti get indicted since he's dead? Did you mean Rothstein gets indicted?

I'd agree with this. Gyp definitely deserved more of a Scarface ending instead of a boring stab in the back (thought the character was pretty stupid, but if you're going to build someone up like that, make sure the death does them justice).

Although Jimmy's death was handled brilliantly at the end of S2, I still think they killed him off too soon and would've been better saving it for the last or penultimate season. His absence is season 3 I think hurt the show.

Can't wait for the new season.

Lets just hope it isn't s let down like last season.
Hoping as well that they pull out of the nosedive that was season 3 and kill off Margaret and Gillian. Was expecting that it'd be Harrow that killed her off when I was anticipating his attack on the brothel, but alas.

:exactly:

Two characters that have well outlived their usefulness.

Yea, worst characters since Vito's gay firefighter boyfriend on the Sopranos. It's just like who that watches this show are they trying to appeal to with Margaret at this point? It's almost certainly cost them more viewers than it has brought in people who wouldn't typically watch the show.

Surprised no-one's dug this thread up, yet, but thought tonight's premiere was great (and fantastic ending). As mentioned above, I didn't care much for season 3 and had a wait-and-see attitude in regards to tonight's premiere, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Hope the rest of the season is as good.

S3 finale seemed more like a series finale to me.

Last nights episode was good kick off. Took me a bit to remember who some of these characters are and what they are doing. :lol

Caught the episode on HBOgo today. Enjoyed seeing everyone again and I really hope Margaret is out of the story now.

We saw some crazy sex scenes last year but the one in this episode was even crazier I thought. Yikes!!
