Why were you holding off on watching Episode 7, if i may ask?

And that was an incredible scene. Very well acted and he was very charismatic. I believe it's harder to emote and do a scene in a made up language as well.

And there are 12 episodes in this season? Whew. For some reason I thought there was only ten.

I thought there were 12 as well, but I can't find it now - swore it was on HBO's site. If there are only 10, they best hurry it up, since by the end of episode 7 they are only about 60% of the way through the book. They have a smidge of catching up to do.

I held off because I wanted to see it on the big screen with surround, not on my iPad. I also hate now having to wait two full weeks before I get another episode...and I have to be careful to only discuss the episode 6 info and not the episode 7 info with friends!

No worries. :lol

I'm still going to watch it next week on the big screen HD TV as well...although it still looked decent on the computer. And yes, the two week wait till Episode 8 will be hard.

Maybe the last episode is a two hour finale?

No way am I watching episode 7 until Sunday. Too tempting but watching it now would just make the wait for episode 8 that much longer. Its good to watch GoT every Sunday; it completes the week and is like a big dessert that just happens to be extra bloody!

geez only 10 episodes? that sucks...it should be at least 12.

i havent read any of the books yet, but i can already tell from the series that you can't get too attached to any character because no one is 'protected' by the author in this story. :lol

I must say Sundays show was probably one of my favorites thus far. All the usual suspects did their job and the ones I previously had reservations for were on the top of their game. As usual Addy and Bean were great in one of my favorite scenes, Eddard waking to find cersei and robert over his bed when he awakes. Great scene! They took a few lines out I loved but replaced them with just as impressive dialog. Loved it. I still hate Renly in the show and truly think its a shame for what they have done with his character. Renly was so charming and clever in his banter with pretty much anyone in the book. He was never a huge character but he was fun to read. Lysa and little Robert are just as unlikable in the show as they are in the book which is great. Good casting with those two. The golden crowning for Viserys could have been better but I enjoyed it non the less. You were glad to see his character bite it. Another good casting call with him. Now were on a roll people, the rest of the story is gonna be a rollercaoster ride. Lets hope they dont f--- it up. Anyone who hasnt read the book has got to. Be prepared though cuz they are hefty.

Yeah you are right about this. They do have a good bit of business to take care of in 3 episodes.

maybe it's just me but I can't stand Khal Drogo. I felt really bad for Viserys, i know he was a little prick, but I could relate to him, he lost the only thing he had to some rapist savage and doesn't even get what he bargained for. I have no Idea what happens but I hope Drogo and his wife die.

All he did was abuse his sister every chance he got. I found that scene of him receving his crown as she watched immensely satisfying.

I know my opinion isn't logical, haha. It may have something to do with the actual charisma of the actor, sometimes I can't help but root for certain villains, most villains in this show i can't stand but for some reason I got a kick out of him, plus I hated drogo almost from the start.

Yes I agree it was very satisfying. If you read the book you would have been even more satisfied. He was a cruel, jealous whiny little ****** and got what he deserved. Whiny little _____.

You cannot lose what you trade away.:yess:

Just finished the first book. AWESOME. Can't wait to see it over the next few weeks! Gonna go start the next book now.. lol :)

"I did warn you not to trust me." That was the ultimate stab in the back but considering his monologue at the beginning of the episode, it should not be surprising and that's why I love Littlefinger.

Yeah, for me I'd like to add him to the list of people I'd love to see get their comeuppance but know that nothing will ever happen to them.

That's just guessing right? Because I didn't read the books so I hope I'm not spoiled.....:(

Either way, it does seem this author loves the theme or innocence getting royaly f*%#ed over. I hope at some point there is some kind of redemption. The show is really good and I actually care about the characters so it's rather disheartening when nothing good seems to happen.

I'm just assuming based on a few spoilers I do know. I've not read the books.

I know. The little smile of his face was just so evil.
