"I did warn you not to trust me." That was the ultimate stab in the back but considering his monologue at the beginning of the episode, it should not be surprising and that's why I love Littlefinger.

Yes, but had Stark gone along with his earlier recommendation to take Joffrey, he wouldn't have done that. Ned should have seen that coming but he is, as Petyr warned him, too trusting. Renly certainly understood that it was time to get out of Dodge.

I loved the scene with Drogo announcing his intentions as well. It wasn't nearly as well done in the book (although the dialog is almost word for word), and the guy playing Drogo can certainly act. I'm now looking forward to Conan later this summer.

My books should be here tomorrow. Plan on saving the first two for my vacation in a few weeks. Can't wait! :rock

Ween no has HBO. :(

Yeah, Game of Thrones is definitely a must watch show. I totally enjoy how things are unfolding and changing with certain characters. Drogo's speech this last episode was great.

I really hope things aren't as bad as they are looking for Ned, This show actually has made me care about the characters. Judging from past episodes I'm assuming he's royaly #$%ed.

Yeah this past weeks episode was great. Nice twist at the end.

But I must admit seeing that little prick on the throne made me sick. I hope it is short lived.

Yep, it is a show I will not miss and I don't wait a day or two to watch the recording. The last episode was killer, love how quickly all of the pieces moved into place.

this sundays episode looks like its going to be a good one.

yea hes a character you love to hate bastard

Wow - no discussion after last night? They whipped through a lot of material and managed to do it fairly cleanly, again due to the great writing. Still, a couple scenes were too rushed to me, but I'll stick them in spoilers just in case you taped the show last night and haven't watched it yet.

Both the scene with Arya stabbing the stable boy and the scene when Robb first shows his strength (and the guy loses a few fingers to his wolf) were a tad too fast - they are key, and needed to be drawn a little more out, I thought.

I also thought the writers made some changes that really worked well, particularly the fight scene with Drogo. What a bad ass!
