You can't beat the climates even in the Bay Area, you want cold head towards the ocean you want warm, head towards the valley. You want snow? Just go North, you want beaches and sun go south. I'm definitely biased because I'm a born, raised California boy but you can't beat when a couple of sprinkles hit the ground its suddenly "Stormwatch 2007"....in the North East.....stormwatch has a whole different meaning.:D
:rock :rock :rock

Born and Raised in Los Angeles CA!!! I will never leave, all the reasons why are listed above...PLUS we have the most BEAUTIFUL WOMEN in the world!!

I think you're a little confused - you have the USC Trojans under Cons, when they are obviously the biggest Pro for the LA area.

No confusion. They're a Con... as in lots of ex and future Convicts in and around the program. :monkey5 Heck, their most famous football alum is notorious worldwide for decapitating people and getting away with it. :lol

Seriously, though, as Domer it could be trying for me to be living among SC fans 24/7. :monkey4

The SoCal women might just be enough to counterbalance that, though. :rock

I'm a Native Southern Californian and it is the only place I have and will ever live..

Too many people.. GO to New England..

:lol < LOL!

Also I can't stand USC being born and raised a UCLA boy..

Nice thing about California is everything is at your finger tips..

Beach, Mountains, Desert.. Everything within a couple hours..

The women are unbelievable.. All I have to do is step outside to perv out..

I HATE USC, their fans are annoying.:emperor

The L.A. women are mor than enough to make up for that. :monkey5

Any place that sells beer in its stores on Sundays...:monkey3

I still can't get used to that here in Ga.......:monkey4

I've lived in all over north,south east,west.

If there is anywhere I would like to end up it's back in the Bay Area of Marin County California.

Hey Irish,

With my dad being an ex-airline pilot, I have traveled and stayed in just about every state in the US. I also live in Atlanta. I like it but often think about leaving. It's a cool place, and I know the area but there are so many other places that are more fun and interesting. My sister lives in Philly and I travel there regularly to see my nephew. I love that city. Lots of young people.
The people are friendly, and the restaurants are out of this world!! However, the bar scene isn't that great. I interviewed in Boston and I must say that I loved it. I almost went to residency there. The people I met we so friendly that it was unreal. I seriously thought I was in the twilight zone. I just went to a bar sat there and ordered a drink. All of the sudden people just came up to me and asked me where I was from bought me drinks etc. Never has happened to me before or since. One thing that i noticed though was that I have never seen people so proud of a city as I saw in Boston. Great place with great people. I think you will like it. I didn't care too much for California though. It's just a different atmosphere. True, lots of beautiful women but I seriously got the feeling that everyone is trying to out do each other. I get that feeling in the ATL but it was much worse in Cali. The people in Boston and Philly just seem more real and down to earth to me. That's my two cents!!
