I wonder how the fans will feel after next week's episode. Will there be enough interest to return to the show in the Spring? If the second half of the season sees the ratings drop even more, then I wonder if a fourth season is in danger.

I just read that NBC is giving Jay Leno a new show in the 10:00 PM time slot 5 days a week. It's another sign that scripted shows on the major networks are dying or being pushed out.

To sum up Hiro in one word = FAIL

To sum up the 2nd half of this season = FAIL

So Fuller comes back for 2-3 episodes? Not enough to save the season.

So anyone disturbed by the wildly uneven CG smoothing on Sandra and Noah? In one shot Sandra looks like a mannequin and the next she looks like her 16 year older self.

I've been cutting this show some slack, but this episode just pissed me off. And it's not just killing Elle or Sylar's flipback. Since when does the strength of the power being dampened make a difference to the Haitian? And if I were the Haitian I would have taken the gun from Peter and smacked him on the back of the head - talk about being unable to act! Hamlet is mister split-decision compared to Peter.

I did like the moment between Claire and Noah though - Hayden did a real good job with that I thought.

On the other hand, I loved this episode. Seeing Sylar slip back to the villain roll, to the point of complete abandon, only to not kill Peter because he has nothing to offer him was brilliant. It broke my heart to see Arthur die (I'm a huge Black Hole fan), but no one dies for good in comics.

I think the Haitian was respecting Peter and his sense of duty when he stood behind him in support.

The one folly with this show is the prop department. I say this since it is my chosen profession. Things like Claire's biology book are incredibly amateur and inexcusable. Really, couldn't their buyer go to a prop house and rent a bio text? Did they have to brown paper the Suresh book??? Don't get me started. They're my union brothers, but I can't look past that.

I thought the scene between Hiro and his mother was one of the best in the entire series. Then they ruin the whole thing by taking his powers away. Again.

I agree that the scene is brilliant, but what what happens when you shame and leave a hero for dead? He crawls out of the pit and wins the day. This episode gave Hiro his memory back, and now he has that and his passion to save the world.

And you knew he was going to give up the special power. So Hiro is responsible for the villains getting the formula and the catalyst. Way to go!!!

When is a HERO going to step up and show himself in a show called HEROES???

I'd expect Arthur will be back, he has the ability to heal himself so all that has to happen is that someone pulls the bullet out of his head and he'll be fine (as long as the Haitian isn't around).

Notice how the people with the ability to heal others keep dying?

Ok, I was rewatching all the episodes over the last couple of weekends and I had a couple of questions about season 2. How did Peter getting the electricity attack (Elle's ability) and the "go through stuff" (DL's ability).

I was thinking maybe he got DL's ability when he was in the square with everyone, but how did he get Elle's?? Was she the one that put him in the cargo container or what?? Maybe I haven't gotten far enough into the season, but if someone could help me with that, it'd be great!!

And how the ^^^^ did Arthur know that Hiro & Claire would be on the rooftop?? Hiro had just gotten the "Light"! I know that Arthur could paint, but I thought the painters could only paint the future??!! I've never seen them paint the past before.

I liked last night's episode,
I loved how Sylar sais: "I forgot how good this felt" or something of that sort!
I never liked Elle, so I won't miss her, though I think I liked her better this season...
I'm troubled by Arthur showing up at the rooftop too... let's see what happens,
I honestly think this show should end next season...
and that's good, I enjoyed it for the most part!!

Watch the whole second season first before asking silly questions! :D

It seems like the world wouldn't need saving if Peter and Hiro would just chill out and take day jobs. :lol

Yea, they all used to have jobs and go to school, but not any more. And how is Nathan still a senator when he is never there to keep up with issues??? (kinda like real senators yuk yuk yukk)

^^^^ I was JUST about to say the same thing :D

This show is crap. Bad bad bad. I loved the first season, but this season is worse than a soap. Nothing has any relevance - half of what happens is cancelled out by the other half. Sylar is bad... no, wait, he's good... no, he's one-dimensionally bad again. Hiro has the Light! I wonder waht'll... uh, no, he's lost it again. Nathan bad, Nathan good, Natham bad.

I. Don't. Care. Anymore.

Plot? Waht plot? Continuity? Puh-leez...
