I was rolling my eyes up to the point that Sylar avoided being captured, then it picked up from there.

any guesses as to why peter had to physically touch people to get the powers?
and if he can only borow a single power at a time?

Probably since it was hard to tell in the first season how he actually got powers, in that he just had to get close to people, but now this definitely shows how he gets powers.

I've really ignored Heroes since the first few episodes of season two, so I have no clue what is going on but I watched the "reboot" last night and I was pleasently surprised.

If they continue down this road I'll start watching again!

I was wondering the same thing. It was odd how much he was holding on to the plane when he can fly...unless he just didnt want to leave anyone behind or something. Im not gonna be a fan if Peter can only have one power at a time.

I was also thinking, if Peter can take powers by touch why the heck wasnt he touching EVERYONE on that plane and why didnt he touch Claire especially?

He could be weakened maybe.

true. These people seem to know how to handle every power. Im sure they wouldnt risk putting Peter who can absorb all powers on a plane with the other supers if they didnt have him heavily sedated.

Took Claire a good few minutes to brush of the grogginess and she has a super healing factor/metabolism.

I don't know, they seem to not want the show to be good. I tried watching it, I really did, but I just can't do it anymore. I enjoyed Chuck in 3D MUCH more.

Chuck is a great show! The 3-D thing was a little lame IMO. I actually think Heroes could finally be getting good! Last night was a back to the drawing board episode which I think set a potentially interesting season. Parkman's new prophet thing is dumb though...doesnt tie into his power at all unless he somehow downloaded the african dudes mind somehow.

I was wondering the same thing, I mean,
you'd think that she would be a great tool for finding all the Heroes, right?... Wasn't she supposed to be with Parkman?

She was (she was being looked after by him and Mohinder) and in the future flashforward Parkman had adopted her...

Where the frack was she???

Other than that I enjoyed the show.

Molly seems only to appear when she is needed as a plot device. Which is fine with me, I find her kind of annoying anyway.

I'm not sure about Peter's powers... I assume he can still hold and acquire many at a time, but maybe not since he seemed worried about being sucked out of the plane.

And that would seem to be a hole in their plot/writing.

it could of been just a normal reaction fearing for his life and grabbing onto somehing forgetting he could fly. I dont think he had to touch people before though to get their power, cause I don't remember him touching ted to get the nuke power, or Nathans flying power after taking the shot at the end of of last season to fly out of the fired building.

yeah peter's whole thing is a little weird, the only thing i can think of is since his powers were returned to him by using the formula that it altered the way his powers work.

Isn't Parkman a little bit old to be involved with Daphne?? Greg Grunberg (Parkman) is 42, and Brea Grant (Daphne) is 27.

It just strikes me as a little odd that they'd be doing a May-December romance angle on this show. I figured before it was an 'alternate future' so maybe times were tough or SOMETHING, but now that they're following through with it. . . kinda weird.

40 is the new 20:rolleyes:

He didn't look 40 to me, more like 30's so I guess it's not too bad. I actually know a lot of couples (like my own parents) that are like 15 years apart.

I enjpyed the show alot, I like how all the heroes are together now and have to work with each other to basically survive.

About Peter's power....The thing I'm wondering about is whether it's like his dad's power where when you absorb someones ability, does it take it completely away from that person? I agree it would be kinda dumb if he could only have one power at a time, but it would also suck if the people's abilities he's absorbing end up not having there's anymore. Maybe that's why he didn't absorb Claire's ability, cause he knew she would lose it possibly?

I'm really looking forward to seeing future episodes.

Matt seems older than Daphne, but not so much so that its weird. I figure him to be in his mid to late thirties, and I figure Daphne for late twenties to early thirties.
