I keep my hobby well within our means. As long as I don't go crazy or keep my impulse to buy multiple figures in check, my wife is okay with it. She thinks the figures are really cool, she just hates the price of them. :lol

Each of my previous girlfriends all took an interest, or at least made an attempt, in whatever my interests were because they saw how passionate I am about them. Collecting and superheroes included.

One knew how excited I was for MoS, and I think she ended up liking the film even more than I did and watched it more times than I had seen it. I recall she even made me a MoS themed quilt that Christmas, which I still have.

When it comes to something you like or something that you're interested in, I believe the key is to simply own it.

Currently single, but my most recent gf was very supportive and collected action figures herself.

My wife has bought me many of my figures, including Leon The Professional one of my grails. Now, with a baby on the way, we will see how THAT changes lol

That you, Dr. Phil?!?

It sounds like they need to take a break from shoveling cheerios for a second and acknowledge that they're both dirtbags!

Mine does because I buy her all the clothes and shoes she wants. This is just a quarter of it

When 3po arrived she asks "how much was that, $200?" I said maybe, maybe not, maybe go **** yourself. The look was priceless.....

And Viking motorcycle helmets as well....

My wife like to see me happy because I work hard to provide for her and my children. I rarely spend on myself, so when I do shes happy for me. Truth is I have a hard time buying solely for myself. 1/6 figures is about the only thing I do buy for myself.

She sorta of pats my head and says "you dollies are nice dear, how long will this be on the fireplace mantle in the living room before you move it to the man cave downstairs?"

Usually its a month on a new acquisition BTW.

My wife opened my latest Fed-Ex bill while I was at work.

'I'd hate to know how much you paid if they charged you that much'
'Don't ask then...' :D
