just finished watching the finale,, is it that easy to get the bombs, no checking , nothing,, thought it was absurd, wont be suprised if there a inside hand, saul ,,,terrorist?

I just rented the first season, and this show is fantastic. Though, even if it wasn't, it's already got quite a few "assets" that I was unaware of (that were mentioned before the end of page 1.:lol).

and from what I hear Homeland is a lot better as well. Apparently the original is on Hulu so I'll have to check it out, but I just can't see it coming close to being as good as Homeland. For once America didn't screw up a remake it seems. That's not to say there aren't others, but 9 out of 10 times they screw remakes up.

House of Cards is good too

So, Episode 1 of season 3 is out on the Net - just got done watching it.

Interesting turn - as usual, Carrie is an emotional wreck for half of the episode, but must say it was kinda nice having a strong focus on Brody's family for the opener - more Saul = good thing imo.

So, will be curious if Carrie ends up the majority of this season as a civilian, cause she's pretty much professionally done by the end

I liked the whole Tower of David setting for this episode, but any sense of intrigue or suspense is gone from this show. I hope we don't have to deal with Brodie being a heroin addict for the rest of the season.

Wasn't sure how they are going to keep the momentum going for current season storyline of Homeland, but that recent episode 4 was just Wow.

the whole episode i was thinking oh hell she is so ****ed now.........then the last minute i was like............dayuuum........:thud:

I dunno... all the while her reactions were of someone who had been royally screwed over and hung out to dry. The 'everything went according to plan' scene was a cool circuit breaker for the long build up, but it doesn't quite add up.

Is anyone else thinking the "Carrie was undercover" aspect is bad writing?

"Dammit, how are we gonna get out of this mess?! Oh, I know, we'll make Carrie going deep! But this time for the CIA!" :monkey1

It doesn't make sense with them releasing truth like Carrie's relationship, especially during a congressional hearing. Unless they blatantly ignore it, there's no way they can salvage her career.

excellent episode, I was totally blown away by the twist. Bad writing, nope good imo since no one saw it coming and if sometimes it doesn't add up then that's fine with me, after all it is fiction right??:dunno

Just because nobody saw it coming doesn't make it good writing. Nobody saw Dexter lumberjack coming either.
