Probably not because she's pregnant, or was at the time they were filming, and I know they used a belly double for her. But maybe.

Alrighty, then. So Brodie's a junk fiend? What? Did he get hooked on morphine or something after being shot? Like I said, the only exposure I've had to this season was the first episode posted on YouTube and the prologue on the DVD that showed him in the truck with what appeared to be a headwrap he'd stolen off a 40 year old woman on his noggin.:lol

T'is a shame to hear that it's gone downhill; it was a hell of a show, and I've liked Lewis ever since Band of Brothers.

This season's gotten a bit goofier but I still think it's great. This episode showed that the Brody stuff is getting resolved so that's something to be optimistic about.

I'm actually thinking this season would've played better if Brody was just completely left out until the end of tonight's episode.

Jesus you cannot please anyone these days. I love this season so far, they have really stepped up their game to keep it interesting.

This show has not gone downhill at all. I would be perfectly happy if the show was just about Saul, Quinn and Carrie catching ****ing terrorists all day.

I am totally ****ing serious. Cut out Brody's family and keep it to the core.

So you enjoyed Dana's sex scene, them turning Brody into a junky so they didn't have to resolve the plot there, the cheap "it's all a sham" they did to get out of the writing hole they put Carrie in, and making her pregnant to wring even the slightest bit of dramatic tension? The show was always about catching a domestic terrorist. That's run its course. Could you imagine the Sopranos focusing on an FBI informant? Dexter being about a meter maid? Maybe they'll spin it off into a sitcom and call it Carrie & Saul. :lol

The only thing I will give you is Brody's family. I hate that storyline and they need to get rid of it. I think it would have better to not show Brody until tonight episode, I don't really care if he turned into a junky. They need to move beyond Brody. I loved Carrie's "sham" storyline, I thought that was great. Sure it had plot holes but it is ****ing TV.

I think we have to see how these plotlines play out before we say definitively that the show's gone downhill, it seems premature to get mad at the setups when they could lead to any number of outcomes. I've loved all the clever spy tactics this season and I've found the twists to be very rewarding.

yeah I agree, don't get all the bashing for this show, I like it enough said......other than yeah get rid of the stupid family storyline and get rid of Brody. move on, its like watching a season of TWD on the farm all over again...:thud:

It's not the plot lines that make this season so piss-poor so much as the dramatic devices the writers are using to advance the narrative. Carrie being prepared to break cover to save the guy who could reveal Brody's innocence from being killed, at the expense of outing the biggest asset the agency has in play, even had my wife groaning out loud at how silly that was. And she can put up with a lot of garbage :lol

Yup. :exactly:

It's far from perfect, but I'm enjoying this season. And at this point I'm more interested in Saul and Quinn. Carrie willing to jeopardize the entire operation they've worked on for how long? And she's pregnant? Meh.

At least there hasn't been any Dana lately. How long's that gonna last?
