I liked the twist. It made sense. She only reacted in private to things that would be upsetting regardless of whether or not she knew they were happening, like having to watch Saul tell the world she was sleeping with a terrorist.

Clearly the writers planned it and it wasn't just a random twist. It's hard to balance having no one see a twist coming and having it make sense and I think the writers did that well.

Okay so I don't know where I have been but I just learned that Saul is the same dude from Princess Bride and I can't get over it!! Freaking crazy. Awesome actor who has changed so much over 20 years.

I just caught up on this show from the beginning this past week. Season 1 didn't completely sell me, but I was entertained and found Claire Danes' performance/character so riveting that I had to see where she would go from that finale. Season 2 didn't just sell me, it blew me away. It felt like it gave us closure and satisfaction most shows don't deliver until the end. Now I'm hooked and looking forward to new episodes more than any other show currently airing. Season 3 didn't exactly start how I'd hoped or expected and I'm glad I didn't have to wait a week between those gutwrenching first 4 episodes, but for me the twist delivered and made the whole thing really impressive; and made the core characters more sympathetic than ever. Brody's situation is still weird as hell though lol. Maybe Caracas is really like that, but it's a bit of a bummer that it seems so cartoony and ridiculous compared to everything else. I guess if it leads to a bunch of snapped necks that could be fun though.

I was all hyped at the season finale, but now it seems like the writers are pulling a Sutter (SoA) and just going for "shock" value, which translates to utter lameness to those with an IQ over 70.

That's exactly why I'm glad I didn't have to wait between those episodes, I was starting to have my doubts too. I couldn't agree more about SOA, I loved that show but haven't brought myself to watch since that unbelievably heavy-handed season premiere.

Except for the quick resolution regarding Tara, this season of SoA has been actually quite enjoyable. Unfortunately Homeland seems to be falling apart at the seams. :(

:dunno I quite like it. :yess:

It's the fact that they've turned Brody into a junky to keep him incapacitated and out of the story (lazy writing), and the whole "SURPRISE! We're running an op!" to get Carrie out of the butt****ed situation she was in. And all to flip a spy in Abu Nazir's network? Nazir's dead and unless they retcon the story behind the bombing, we know Brody didn't do it. Now we're getting stories focusing on Dana (zzzzzzzz) and Quinn confessing to murders to help push the dramatic tension. Saul butt****ing the Senator would have him facing congressional hearings for treason - especially after essentially kidnapping and illegally detaining him. Curious what lame story they're going to run with to get them out of that. They've clearly chose cheap shock value over good, realistic writing this season which is a ****** shame given how good last season was.

I see somebody's been surfing IMDb. :lol Honestly, I think this show's about done as it is.

Actually no, I work with a lot of people who work on the show, and one of them told me.

And it wouldn't surprise me if your right. It's renewed for a fourth season, which will film this summer, but with that tax incentives in jeopardy in NC, It will either be done, or they'll move the production elsewhere. On Banshee the rumor is we're going to film S3&4 back to back to get as much in before the end of the year.

yeah good points, though most I can over look, but the first one is really odd. that whole episode he was in was like a total downer, and yeah Dana.......who gives a shat

I can't overlook it. Take away the production values and residual character empathy and what does this season leave you with? Meh. I watched Dexter through to the end, and this show hasn't become as stupid as that. Yet.

Just got caught up... not impressed with this season. I love the characters Quinn and Saul but thats about it at the moment.

When the terrorist dude told Carrie that the bomber was linked to the person that brought them together it made me think of Saul's wife. The writers made us believe it was the lawyer dude but Saul is the reason they were brought together and his wife is seeming more bad news by the episodes.

If it in fact is something like that (I hope I am wrong) the show has officially turned into a bad season of 24.

I'm not caught up (I watch the seasons on DVD), but the general consensus leads me to wonder: what the hell is it with Showtime shows? They start off really good, and get progressively better, until they finally get their groove, so to speak, and then they spend the rest of their time flailing around like chickens with their heads cut off. Please tell me there are, at least, moar Morena Bacarrin Bewbs.:lol

Probably not because she's pregnant, or was at the time they were filming, and I know they used a belly double for her. But maybe.

My guess, with the uncomfortable pedophile's wet dream of a love scene, is they'd rather show Dana's. :monkey4
