Nice new ribbon! Well done.

thanks I knew not just the brim was off on the hat but the ribbon and the way they had the bow on the side. So I just used the method i did on my indiana jones fedora but used in a smaller scale. If the brim were a little wider my hat would be perfect. Next up change the color of the waistcoat from green to blue.

Man, those are fantastic pics.

It's great to finally have these two after all these years.

Next up change the color of the waistcoat from green to blue.

Careful with that, be sure about the color on your monitor screen. The vest is a weird teal color -- blue and green -- and I'd say the HT guys got it pretty darn close, but if you can get some more blue in there...

Not sure you'll be able to dye it the subtle difference that you want out of it.

Great shot, great attitude on Bats.

I'm still debating how I'm going to go about doing it. I do have vest already in blue from a custom joker figure I have I might customize that first and see how it looks on the new figure.

OK, tried to open the PERS panel but the screws are so tight I couldn't get it open. Need to get a real 3/64" phillips...

Even if you got the back off there's nothing you can do to "fix" the eyes without separating them.

:lol Maglor, I love ya buddy but your looking for trouble. :lol

:lol Nah, just playin'. WorGar asked for that expression and I gave it to him. :D

:gah::slap Thats the problem! I moved all my pics to different folders. I haven't done that since I had the account and it was getting very difficult to navigate and find pics I needed. ____!! So this means every pic I ever uploaded to the board is gone?? That sucks.

Sadly, yes. :(

Whenever I move or delete a picture from Photobucket it gives me an "are you sure" warning that says the links will no longer work.

From that bootleg Joker a couple years back, right? I have that too and it is closer to the blue I think you have in mind.

Yeah, I know, but sometimes gunk can be in there effecting the eyes. I popped Indy's eyes out to rid the eyeliner so I'm comfortbale now with removing the PERS system and eyeballs and give it a little cleaning just to rid any flecks of dirt that might effect the eye movement. But for some reason the screws on this Joker are too tight for the little instrument I used for Indy. So I gotta go buy an actual mini-screwdriver I guess.

Or just leave it alone, which is what I'm now more inclined to do. :)

I like it! :clap

Did you find a way to "tie" the ribbon on the side like the stock ribbon?[/QUOTE]

here's the best I can do for a picture of the bow I went step further I didn't copy the hot toys bow cause theirs is completely off. Jack's actual bow Is like Indiana Jones fedora bow. I just used the steps hat makers use to attach full size ribbons in a smaller scale I used craft glue I didn't sew it to the hat.

^^^ That first pic is fantastic! :clap And I think you pulled off the heal clicking pose quite well. :D

Nice. I wouldn't know the first thing about how hat makers tie ribbons. :lol

Looks like you used a wider ribbon and cut it to size, Is that right?

I used a wider ribbon but I folded the ribbon in half
I cut two pieces one for the knot and the other for the bow.

I used these steps

The width I folded the ribbon in half I didn't want to cut for fear of it fraying. I just measured the length using the one that was already on the hat so it would fit perfect, for the bow I just eyed it using a promo shot but made sure it was in scale so it didn't look awkward like the one they had already. It amazes me they go to all the trouble to get the suits of cards on the waistcoat buttons but they couldn't get the hat or the pants color and pattern correct.

Great pics!

Looks like you aren't bothering with getting the wrist peg in the sock either. :lol

Yeah, to hell with that sock. It was a stupid idea on HT's part. I mean 95% of the time I take off the hand the peg comes with it. I was trying to just take the hand off for a while on the one hand that still had the sock over the peg but I ended up snapping the peg. It's a little unsightly in my pic but I didn't have much of a choice. Any other time you can't tell though. The cuff of the gloves hide them very well.

Awesome! Great idea. Looks like that New Goglin flight stand has come in very handy for the 89 lot.

I just got my bats and joker today, amazing figures!

Still I just dont see $517 when I look at them. I don't see the value in these things anymore tbh.
