I'd be a happy man when (if in Quorra's case) HT makes these. Together with Sam on the Lightcycle, these would make for an awesome display!

Appropriately, the sequel suffers from almost the same problems as the original: while it’s visually dazzling (particularly in 3D), thematically intriguing and fronted by the single coolest man in the universe, it’s also empty, derivative and rather directionless... as the story becomes more convoluted and less convincing... it becomes clear that this ‘Tron’ isn’t going to satisfy any but the most undemanding fans.

TRON: Legacy is a bit of a mess at times. The script is dodgy, the effects fluctuate between pristine and rushed and the pacing goes off-kilter midway through. Incredibly, though, "TRON" stands up against all of its own faults, actually transforming them into a sort charm all its own and emerges as one of the best blockbuster experiences 2010 has had to offer.

good visually, but great it aint, apparently. brace for impact.

Just pre-ordered mine. I just wish the release date wasn't so far away! I am new to the whole sideshow thing. I have a few PF's but have never pre-ordered anything from them. Is this wait time normal?

it will feel like an eternity. You will try to forget about it but you will constantly check updates, and it's doubly worse since you are in this forum because everybody else is just as impatient

Hot Toys has been pretty consistent with their timeliness. Should fall right in the 3rd Q, 2011. Sounds far off but it really isn't with so much goodies coming in between now and then you'll be satisfied

I for one wouldn't mind if HT takes his time with this. Gives me more time to save up

Usually these come fairly quick after an anouncement, and I'd love to see some pics of this fig in regular lighting without the blue filter...

You can still get some pretty cool figures from a sucky movie. The hype from this film alone I think would've killed it with the fans. I for one don't believe in advertising a movie 1 year in advance. I still am looking forward to what hot toys will do with the license

whats there to risk? Its three friggin days. Or are you saying you aren't going to even see the movie?

If you can't be bothered to see the movie despite a few reviews, then you probably should never had this figure on your radar at all.

I for 1 am waiting until the movie comes out and will be making my own evaluation based on what I see. Shoot, most "movie people" hate the original TRON in the first place, but I love it, so I don't care what anyone says.

i'll still see it, eventually. but my expectation has been greatly lowered, and as of now i dont feel the urge to see it on opening day on the big screen anymore, much less spending $300 for a toy from it.

and yeah, i'll trust the words of reviewers over studio marketing machine anyday.
