I think that is because the chat is A) not permanent and you cannot go back to and reference a comment, and B) it doesnt count towards your post count (which some people are concerned about.) Finally, I think most of us just forget about it.

I think that people need to understand that we are all here to discuss collectible product. Therefore we are here to enjoy the company of people who share the same passion. When you come to the site and get belittled or berated for having an opinion, it does tend to be a turn off, even for the people that are not involved and are bystanders. I believe that's what Hairless is trying to say. I lurked here for the longest time before joining...I left the Spawn boards because of the members, and wanted to make sure that this community was more solid before joining. To my surprise, I found that most everyone here was courteous, even in disagreement. Unfortunately, I am starting to see trends here similar to those that occurred before the spawn boards turned into a cesspool (for lack of a better term.)

Yep. I use forums for these reasons. To share and discuss the hobby with others. It's a shame when an arguement ensues. Obviously the people involved (including myself) are not mature enough yet to let something like this just blow over by being passive or continue to discuss it in a mature manner. Which is why the arguement ensued. But that's the reality of humanity. I have only seen this type of ultimate passive behavior out of my elders and elders in general and I believe it is something that is learned through experience and age. The wisdom to understand trival things such as these are not worth the trouble. I'm learning - through time and experience. [IGNORE]

P.S. I apologize if I offended anyone.

No need to apologize...from either of you. I understand that frustrations run high and it should cause if we didn't give a crap about the hobby, none of us would be here.

I just think once it is settled, let sleeping dogs lie. There is only so many ways you can call someone a whiner and only so many ways you can call someone else an a-hole.

Seems like once you establish that the two of you don't agree on something, particularly to the point of ensuing arguments, its just time to ignore the person figuratively or quite literally (like MS apparently did).

I've done this myself to one poster. Once a few days pass, I generally take em off. Just to let cooler heads prevail. It should just not go on for days ad nauseum...does kinda kill the spirit of the site a bit.

It's 500 per fair, for sure. But even so, I can't for the life of me figure out what the main distributor of toys in Asia is... But of course, I'd probably end up paying more than $200 if I took that route. Not over $300, but still. This whole thing is downright confusing. He's not that limited and there's a variety of things that could have changed or happened, yet I don't see any solution other than to wait.

And now I can't get the image out of my head...

If that's the case, then HT dropped the ball in getting them over here in time for SDCC and we can expect several Wait List orders to convert as well as these guys to pop up on ebaY at "Lost" prices. 4-5 cons puts the ES at 2000-3000 pcs. For some reason though, I don't think that's the case.

i don't think so either, but the guys paying $500+ now on ebay are gonna ____ bricks if that's true.

You got me hopeful of a conversion there. I would love another crack at pre-ordering. I got to admit, priority pre-order is a allot of fun.

Don't get your hopes up. I'm betting that "500 per fair" is a mistake. If Sideshow only let 100 go for Attendees (which it seems like it was even less than that), but were expecting 400 more, the PPO would've lasted a hell of a lot longer than it did.

Even if I had been successful I wouldn't consider that fun and I need only look to the really pi$$ed off guys here to know how I would have felt had I failed in a PPO for T-Sarah.

It's stressful, yes. But it's like a "horror movie" type of fun. People just need to learn to grow up if they miss out. :lol

Re: amount available for non-attendee PPO.

It would be fairly easy to figure out, but people would have to post the last 3 digits of their order #'s. Take the difference between the lowest and highest #s. No other product could be ordered during that time, so every order # should be a Guardian..

edit: instead of posting your order #, we could PM them to a mod you trust, and let them tell us what they see. The mod would have to be onboard for that, of course.
