Yeah, really dude. I honest-to-goodness would LOVE one. I planned to get one, even. But what you're proposing is essentially scalping on this board. On this very thread.

What are you talking about? People pass their preorders off to other members all the time. I have probably sold 5-10 EX preorders to other members at cost. Heck, I am passing a EX Wolverine PF to another board member for cost right now. And it didn't need to be just for me, it could have been for any board member instead of just letting it go to the wait list.

Read my edited post. You're passing something on for cost, yet at the same time, you're placing yourself in front of another member because you imply that you'll pay more than the original price. I'd say cool off. Just because of your recent shock that the other deal didn't go through, doesn't mean you have to go all-out to get the Guardian now as a consolation prize. Believe me, I know the feeling. It's not worth it at this point. Just give it some time, until the going gets better. I can't say it'll be too much better, but things ought to pick up after the other fairs.

look, I don't feel I should explain myself but I guess I will, the Sideshow printed calendar said non-attendee orders were processing on the 5th, that was yesterday, then I heard this would process on the 8th it seemed they could process anytime in between there. Some personal business came up that I had to pay for, as Boba Ben said, Paypal can take some time for transfers to go through And I just couldn't risk it.

As I said I would have loved to help a fellow freak out but I figured canceling it was the most objective/fair way to go. End.

It may come to that, but honestly, I am trying hard to just let people be adult enough to moderate themselves and end all this, but it seems like the people continually behind it are incapable of changing and force more drastic action.



There's been arguing and name calling going on in here for a few days, there's also been a lot of the same crap in numerous threads in this section of late. There are healthy disagreements, but cruelty and intolerance being demonstrated of late is really troubling me, and a lot of it is the same people everywhere, and after all my pleas elsewhere, I've just hit that, enough is enough point.

There's a pattern... the usual suspects stirring things up... just sayin'....

I have never seen it happen but they might make an alternate version of this particular Predator. Highly doubtful they will just "make more" of the exact figure due to demand.

That's what pisses me off the most. These jerks that place an order on an item they know they won't be able to afford.
And My feelings right now are I don't want an alternative if they make one. I want one of these that are offered!!!

A battle-damaged Guardian (even though he never appeared that way in the movie) might be cool. It'll be like having a BD P1... with P2 armor... and I already have a BD P2. Aw, screw it. I'm holding out for this Guardian and this Guardian only .

This makes sense and I am sorry if I came out as cross. I hadn't seen Comm's post and I wasn't trying to -_-block someone. I guess it just completely stunned me that someone would cancel this without at least offering it up considering the demand, but if you can't afford it you can't afford it.

I'd be happy if they made more but with slight differences, so as to keep the exclusive "exclusive". But i have my doubts as to whether they'd actually do that. I'd imagine that anyone who's got one would rather they not make more, as it probably makes it more special to them. Well, the ones that actually bought it to keep and not to rip people off. But it would be great if hot toys would see the desire for Guardian and make some more, in one form or another. I would however be put off ordering from Sideshow as the only time i've tried to order from them their site messed up, and after i emailed them about it they've so far ignored me.

Yeah. That's a crappy way to do business. A generic e-mail should be made by SS to send all of their members regarding this situation.
However, I sent an e-mail Friday if I recall correctly. SS said they'd take approx 2 business days to respond. It'll probably take a couple more figuring they've received more A LOT MORE than the usual high amount of e-mails they get. We'll see. Not looking for much; still I hope it isn't some blow off response...

Hey on this note Maul I was once suspended for a week (cooling off period they called it) from a sports forum for a threat. I was not serious about the threat, but I didn't realize how serious others consider it to be. Rather than punishing everyone for the acts of others, I agree with Furious1. Start by suspending people and if they have or develop a history of the same behavior ultimately ban them!

Don't listen to anybody else. You did the right thing bud. Sure it would've been nice helping out a fellow freak, bu that would've likely started a further argument of who's more deserving. Then when all is said and done, you're still at the mercy of them paying in a timely fashion. Bottom line. For whatever reasons (and it's really nobody's ____ing business), you canceled your item. In the end, it might benefit a freak here who's on the Wait List. Maybe not. But whoever's next in like will have their order process and nobody's gonna be yelling at you for favoring one freak over another and you potentially stopped a feeding frenzy. Trust me, you did the right thing bro.
