Yeah. I got off work not too long ago. I should have known better. I think that dude was just being funny. Sucks with people like that. This ain't really a joking matter until all the dust has cleared! And right now it's as if the twin towers have just fallen!

Again, are you F'n serious. Yyou are now comparing you bad fortune at missing the Guardian predator to 9/11 ?!?

*Chuckles*

:hi5:

There's a pattern... the usual suspects stirring things up... just sayin'.... :dunno

More like SUSPECT...singular.

And My feelings right now are I don't want an alternative if they make one. I want one of these that are offered!!!

I hear ya bro, but ultimately, an alternative version would be all we can hope for beyond the WL cause HTs has never upped the ES just because fans wanted it. If they did, I'm sure we would see the colonial marines and other older licenses re-emerge.

A battle-damaged Guardian (even though he never appeared that way in the movie) might be cool. It'll be like having a BD P1... with P2 armor... and I already have a BD P2. Aw, screw it. I'm holding out for this Guardian and this Guardian only :D.

And, of course, the inevitable HT Predators :rock. Good summer.

Well, I think maybe a phasing version. Not sure how they would achieve this effect but if any manf. can pull it off, HTs could.

However, I sent an e-mail Friday if I recall correctly. SS said they'd take approx 2 business days to respond. It'll probably take a couple more figuring they've received more A LOT MORE than the usual high amount of e-mails they get. We'll see. Not looking for much; still I hope it isn't some blow off response...

Look back about 8-10 pages, you'll see your SS response. If you are looking for anything beyond that, don't hold your breath. Just guessing here, but I suspect we wont get any specific info until after, maybe during, SDCC.

Oh, good lord. I missed something here for sure :D! MS, that was a good laugh. Mind you, these guys are just busting your chops for being new and because you already stated that in the past, people took posts like that seriously.

Granted, that was a bit of a jaw-dropping analogy. I was honestly a little surprised you'd go there, even as a joke. This ____ just got real :lol.
I forgive you, though. I laughed so hard at the awkwardness of it all, I nearly sharted.

There are some things that just aren't joked about. :nono

The analogy itself wasn't such a hot idea. The fact that it was made, along with the awkward silence that followed... priceless.

Well here's what you may actually find shocking rather than funny. I was not joking. It was not a joke. It is what I said it was. I wasn't trying to be funny or disrespectful.

I don't find false waitlist conversions on this item the least bit amusing. I don't want to distract the thread. Just ignore the comment.

There were better analogies that could've been made, but yeah. Let's not derail this any further than it already has derailed.

Out of curiousity, how would the "missed pick-up" work on Sunday? Can any random con attendee (even if they don't have an SS account) walk up and pay $200 to pick up the missed Guardians on a first come, first serve basis? If so, I won't be there on Sunday (just Thursday and Friday). Maybe someone else I know is going could pick one up if any are left. Would this work, or is it account-holder only? Also, do you pay on the spot or...?
