The fix on Guardian makes his head look worse. Thats my opinion though.

I thought those dreads were excellent way back when I first saw them. Of course thats because what I was used to at the time was the awful dreads on all the McFarlane figures. But still, those HT AvPs were the best. Early on in my 1/6th collecting career I regretted not having them. Now I don't care.

I wish they'd update and redo those Preds. Those sculpts and those dreads are indeed rediculously hideous by todays standards.
I just bought one. There is only one left now.
And gone...

What time did you place your order? I placed the order, paid via paypal, and now when I logged back in their site, it states my order status is failed. Yet, it has been paid in full. What gives?

You should call. That has happened to me, but the order does go through.
It went through around 3:15 and right before I put my order in I checked the quantity and there was 2 left.

If its something like an error message, then I believe you should be okay. Speaking to them is probably the best thing you can do at this point...
Oh I actually thought he had them in stock. So its just a preorder then. I paid with credit card so I'm not actually charged for the item yet?

I never liked the AvP preds, and that counts for the entire package: armor, headsculpt/tone/paintjob, dreads. In my eyes, it was an incomprehensible deviation of an classic design. A failed attempt. I have roughly the same opinion about the AvP movies. So even if the 1/6 scale AvP preds where true to the source material in the movie, that doesn't make the design any better.
As for the dread job on this guardian pred, it's ok, but I prefer the way it looks in this picture.
Perhaps not screen accurate, but what ever truly is? I've seen preds with outstanding adjusted coiffure, especially the Pred 2 Elder, but Gort's mask design goes particularly well with the porcupine style. I like it like that.
