I love how everyone is selling these now because it "doesn't fit the collection." Its ok if you bought it to scalp it, you might as well be honest about it.

I sold mine cause I can now buy 2.5-4 Hot toys figures with the $$ I got and that thing is Fugly. Dont give me crap for selling, I waited behind my computer and waited for it to come up only to be put on a waitlist yet toys2.net Got a bunch of them??? What about the others on the wait list? Thats jack up Sideshow!

so, you saw the same pics everyone else saw well before the figure came out. but once you got it, it was "fugly" all of the sudden? what happened there? it looks like the same figure to me.

The dreads can look okay after some messing around with.

That's what I've been trying to tell people here for years. Some patience and messing around with the dreads can make the AVP Preds look tons better. And that's probably the best pic of a HT Scar I've ever seen.

My Guardian arrived last Thursday (less than a week to deliver from the States to NZ), but I’ve only just been able to open him up.

Close up shot of the Gort bio is fantastic. Mine arrives tomorrow. It's gonna be awesome putting him together with the rest of the Lost Tribe.

But how come no one has done the dread mod for the Guardian yet? That's the first thing I'm doing after I open the box dammit!

Dude is there an old AVP Pred Thread that could be revived? If not I think we should totally start a new one! Have everyone that still has HT AVP Preds post their pics! Always good to have some old stuff come up. You can start with your Celtic!

There's already a bunch of Alien/Pred/Terminator picture threads... I'd say we'd better start a thread for just giving love to some great classic figures. The ones that started it all. It could be called... the "Give some love to the Hot Toys AVP figures."

@Ashkanls: I can't say I approve, because I honestly don't... so I won't do much more besides try to stay neutral. Kudos for the honesty, though.

Oh wow then it must have been a lot worse when it first comes out of the box. I was thinking the hot water mod? That's what I did with all of my Preds (that needed it or didn't have a wire in it ).

My question is what is the big deal? I still collect and have 3 P1's. I waited like everyone else and got one fair and square. Those that didnt you had just as much of a chance that I had. Hell Sideshow gave some to toys2.net and who knows who else instead of letting more waiting lists covert. Wheres the middle finger icon when you need it to sideshow.

I knew from the begining I didnt like the look but knew there was money to be made which would end up being re-invested in the Predator Hot toys pool.... Last 2 weeks I bought 2 Mr Blacks, War machine, and a battle damaged mark 6......Point is Im not a fulltime "scalper"

well, it depends on how long the hairdryer mod can last. when i tried it on the Lost, it lasted maybe an hour and the dreads went back to the way they looked out of the box. so, i had it sent to a customizer on here to put some small pieces of wire in the top of the dreads where they connect to the head. it's permanent and looks better than any other dread mod i've seen. however, the hairdryer deal worked fine on my P1 and works so far on my Guardian. but, i might send them for custom jobs at some point anyway since it looks better and i won't have to worry about the dreads ever reverting back.

I didn't like the idea of the boiling water mod. I'm likely to ruin the headsculpt. The hairdryer mod seemed safer and more controllable. If the hairdryer mod doesn't last and the dreads revert back, I might give it a go. Thanks for the advice, guys.

I think I read it all in the Berserker Thread. Everyone is just upset about the midsection. Big deal. It's still the best interpretation of Berserker we're gonna get. If you don't like it, just don't get it. I still want it.
