Just got mine today. He's pretty cool although the dreads need to be fixed. Both him and lost seem to have severe poofy problems. I never fixed them cuz I was afraid I'd break it. :(

Does anyone know that they're supposed to put the little re-beather hose into the hole underneath his medkit? That's the way the BD P2 worked, and it's still great on Guardian. Just saying, not very many people did this in their pics.

I think I've overloaded my pred shelf now!

Elastic band round the head to keep the dreeds flat to the side of the head, hairdryer to get the dreeds nice & hot about 40/50 sec,s. Then finish of in the freezer for about a minute.

This is what i did,,but instead of the freezer ,i left the band on for 2-3 days ,,our bedroom temp is at about 69F
I dont think it came out too bad

Da cash! 2x your money out the door... hard to resist. You could sell this bad boy and get a free Berserker.
so $400 is a lot of money? am i the only gainfully employed person here?
for a hobby based on toys, it sure gets shady. maybe i should move on to black market diamonds.

yep, it's the exact same armor. they might as well have not included it though. i'm never gonna display this thing with the bio off.

Nothing wrong with bald people,,heck even my brother shaves his head,,,granted he doesnt boil his head first,,but each to their own, wouldnt mind seeing a bald pred though

I was able to get one from DarthCollector for a reasonable trade.
It arrived last Friday, and I have to say that it is pretty damn cool. To whoever is going to use the boiling water method to get the dreds to lay down, don't leave the head in the water for too long. I think I saw someone else post that 10 seconds was good, and I agree with that.
I wasn't paying attention to the time and the results almost made me want to cry. Several dreds broke off and a large number of them tore.:monkey2
I'm not planning on getting rid of it, so I removed all of the dreds. I then removed the dreds from my "Lost" Predator, and put them on Guardian. They look good enough to me and I'm pleased with them.
I know the figure is not "original", but like I said, I'm gonna keep him.

Here are some pics

Your not alone bro...did the same thing last night! Wrapped the dreads with a rubber band prior to putting it in boiling water...then left it in for about 45-50 seconds. The stress from the rubber band combined with the dreads getting too soft caused 8 of them to rip off and another 6 or so started to tear. :( After sitting there in shock and pondering my stupidity for about 30 minutes, I spent the next hour gluing them back on with crazy glue. It turned out pretty good...with the exception for 2, you can't really tell unless you are looking real hard. But I definitely feel your pain!

Yes it is a lot of money when you compare it to a $200 dollar investment. Why is this shaddy? It is a market meaning you have buyers willing to pay that price, no different than any other commodity.

no, it's still not a lot of money compared to the investment. it's just double. and doubling $200 is still chump change. i'd rather have a cool figure than an extra $200.

Well a 100% IMHO is pretty good, but I agree with you I would rather have the figure. I was merely trying to respond to someone... supply < demand = Price increase.

Got mine today. Did dread mod. Looks much better. Reposed P2 and put him together with Lost and Elder. Man, my heart feels pretty damn content right now.

With so much apparent demand for this figure leading up to the big PO event, and the limited quantities supposedly available at SDCC, I had serious doubts I'd ever be lucky enough to get one of these this time around.

I was already about 1/2 finished with my own Gort kitbash made up of spare P2 parts & a Nosferatoys Gort bio when the Guardian EX PPO was announced. So, I wouldn't have been totally bummed if I missed out, but I got lucky and scored a Guardian anyway.

I'm really glad I did and will definitely be keeping him. The dreads and a few other small things will get modded when time permits, but overall I'm completely satisfied with the figure itself, even though it is somewhat overpriced compared to their previous releases.

So far HT has released 3 of the Lost Hunters, something I wouldn't have believed likely a couple of years ago. I have no idea if they have plans to release any more of them, but with their penchant for reusing parts to make "new" figures, it's not entirely out of the question. I hope they do make at least the Ram and Boar Preds at some point, even if only as con exclusives, like they did with the Guardian.

Just about back to normality after San Diego Comic Con. I had to try to ignore looking at the Guardian as he was delivered while I was gone.

Will open him later on today!

Sideshow stall was amazing but you guys already knew that!
