Recieved my Guradian today, overall happy with the fig. Now all i need to get is EP2 and I will have a nice little clan.
 
That's strange... I'm not doubting your friend but, I had used my reward points to order my predator (non-attendee) and then Michael from SSC's customer service, contacted me to let me know that reward points can't be used on Convention exclusives. He put my points back in my account and I had to pay full price. I will have to ask CS what's up with that.

I used my points for mine and had $15 dollars taken off, the points have not yet returned to my account. There was actually a button to select if you wanted to use your points on the pre-order page. Doesn't matter, they didn't get charged full price and neither did I.

Dear Eduardo,

Thank you for your order and for your interest in Sideshow Collectibles.

We are currently processing orders for the Guardian Predator – Comic Con Non-Attendee Version. Unfortunately Comic Con items cannot have any kind of discounts on them and we noticed that your order has Rewards points on it. We are going to have to delete the Rewards points from the order – they will be put back into your account.

If you would still like to receive the figure minus the Rewards points please let me know by July 21, 2010 to avoid cancellation.

We do apologize for the misunderstanding and appreciate your understanding in the matter. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact me.

You should, I checked my bank account and the total after points was the amount used to purchase it. It was on the invoice I have on file too.

I used my points knowing the fact that you can't apply it. They never reversed the points so the points were applied. I guess we slipped through the cracks since they were slammed with this release.

Well, I applied them without knowing I couldn't. They stayed applied there for almost 2 weeks and got me all excited. Then they were taken away. They should've included in their computer system a way to NOT accept them so they wouldn't get people's hopes up.
 
ha! you guys should look through the FS section and read some of the sob stories about "needing $$" to justify flipping their Guardians for $400-$500. my favorite was "selling it for a friend".:rotfl
 
can anybody make a photo of Gort's helmet from the inside? please.
i mean i'm afraid that it has the same problem that P1 helmet had in the cheeks area.
and it will pass over a month before i can see it myself.
 
I'm anxiously awaiting mine. It's out for delivery and should be here soon (I hope). I've got errands to run...but I can't get the fig without a signature...so if I run to Dunkin Donuts for a Coolata and I just miss the UPS truck, I'm screwed. :lol
 
Got mine yesterday.
UPS said it was out for delivery at 6:30am and didnt come till 7:00pm. Was about to leave and then he came, worked out great.

Looks like I should've went for my Coolata. My Guardian Pred was scheduled to be shipped today and was out for delivery at 5am. It's 9:07pm EST. Doesn't look like it's coming in today... :lol
