Really? You didn't have to shave the inside of it or anything?
no way in hell am i "shaving" anything off of a $200 figure. if reshaping the mask doesn't work enough, just heat up the mandibles and push them in closer to the face.

thank you. photos would be more cool, but ok :)

It fits really close, covering the whole face all the way back to the dreads. And its easy to take off and put back on, while not being so loose that it falls off if you walk past the figure. No complaints about the bio from me. Its the big reason I wanted the figure and its executed very well.

Ditto. As much as i do like the paint job on the face i absolutely love that bio mask and its one of the main reasons i wanted the figure. Awesome.
Incidentally, has anyone tried to use the new Gort oxygen mask with P2? I tried but from what i can tell it doesnt fit. Shame cos the oxygen mask looks great. Even down to the pipe/tube thing.

May have a side view of the bio on in the vid.

nah, it won't fit. it doesn't fit on the Lost and that's the same sculpt at the P2.

thanks everybody for answering :)
i was very afraid that Gort's helmet will have the same stupid problem that P1's had.
and there would be no tylerdurdem this time to fix it.

actually they are very different... but both are far from P1 and breathing mask for his sculpt, if you meant it.

by the way...

Thats how I've got my BD P2 at the moment. Love those shots, love the P2 design and love that HT figure. Its great to have the accurate breathing mask now.

I had the open mandibles on and the closed mandibles are in a bag with the rest of my HT accessories so all I've done at the moment is take off the mandibles altogether and have him hold the mask in place over his face.

even though HT figure has twice wider shoulders and twice narrower belly? :)

McFarlane did the same thing so I guess I was just used to it and didn't find it wierd when Hot Toys did it too. Mainly I was relieved that the dreadlocks and biomask were a lot closer to the film than the McFarlane MM6 figure.

So no it doesn't really bother me, and I'm glad it doesn't because Hot Toys aren't going to redo the P2 hunter.

I'd say the P2 has more problematic paint apps than the AVP's, even. No stripes (when he should've had them), plus the final head paintjob was a joke. The AVP's literally looked better than that IMO. Man, what I would give to have HT's P2 prototype... that thing looked sweeeeeeeet.

It's not perfect, but miles better than what we got. AND it would stand out more on a shelf.

oh...
exactly my story from A to Z.
well, in several months this problem will get decided for me forever - or until new, proper figures are made.

Even the his bone necklace is different. Goes across the chest instead of around the neck. Which one is more screen accurate? I may need to mod that necklace.

Got round to taking pics of mine today:
I like this figure a lot and I feel I actually have a Predator collection now this one has been added to my P1, P2 and Lost Pred!
