Does anyone know if the P2 bio will fit on a P1 head?
it doesn't.
HT P2 has the narrowest face of all stan winston's preds already manufactured.

Wow, 43 of these on ebay at the moment, did anyone actually want this figure :lol

Feel sorry for all the actual fans of the figure :(

Sorry but Hot Toys and Predators are just retarded. I never understood people paying $600 for the Ancient and Elder Preds that have all of 5 seconds screen time let alone this thing. To me as a non Predator fan, this figures like a Hasbro repaint.

That's because you are not a fan.

I am a fan of the movies, just not the figures, they are IMO, average. I sold my P1 Pred after owning him about 6 months. I felt he didn't really stack up to some of the other customs and Hot Toys human figures I had.

I'm a bigger fan of Aliens and I also don't really see why the Marines are going for so much. I know there rare, but theyre on ebay every week. To me, it seems the only thing driving the price of the marines up is impatience.

that's the beauty of collecting. The ending scene to P2 is my favorite scene from the first two movies, and P1 is one of my favorite movies of all time. P2 isn't in my top ten. Screen time has nothing to do for wanting a figure made; it's what you like. Just like those people that want A Clockwork Orange figures. I have no desire for figures from that movie. Why would people want figures from that movie? Because they like the movie, character, scene, etc.

Of course you don't, you are not a predator fan! But by all means post here a question the fans! :slap ;)

I actually agree with you.
I am not paying over the odds for an action figure no matter how cool it is.
I would kill for an P2 Edler Predator but I simply cannot rationalise parting with $400 for one.
Don't care how rare or how special it is, it is still a toy.
To me you have to try to at least be some way practicle with luxuries like these things.

Right now I'm wrestling with paying 300 bucks for one of those amazing Hot Toys Adams space apes. Yes 'it goes for way more on ebay' but still,
not sure I can rationalise even that much for a toy.

nope. not the majority, anyway. it was pretty much understood since it was announced as a limited edition that the vast majority would be bought only for scalping.
Feel sorry for all the actual fans of the figure :(
yeah, me too. but there are parasites in just about every hobby who have no purpose in life but to ruin the fun for everyone else. best thing you can do is just not do business with them and stick to respectable sources. sometimes that means missing out for a while.

Ok, well I am a Predator fan, and I can't understand people paying $600 for a figure. I would not pay that much for any figure from any line. Lay off the guy.

:slap:slap:slap Are kidding or did I miss something? Are you guys literaly analizing a movie that was written and acted out? You realize it was a movie and it had to end some way since it had already gone 1.5 hrs so they wrote in a thing called a script that the p2 Predator was a little more cocky then P1. Its called charactor attributes. P1 was a sniper who picked one by one. P2 just jumped in the middle and dooked it out. He ran because Glover pushed his butt over the edge instead of spearing him with his own spear. He had nowhere to go but down so he was going to blow his butt up not to be seen. His arm got cut off so he ran to base so he wouldnt get caught. Glover being old..... I dont even know what to say to that........maybe in the movie he played a 32 year old ex seal that was now a cop??? If you are 12, excuse me for interrupting, carry on.....

 I'm honestly not sure what point you're making or whether or not you have one. Were you following the whole discussion? Or are you simply arguing that it shouldn't be discussed and that this forum should be bereft of any fun?

The points you made sounded IMO like it came from a 6 year old that thought the movie was real.

I think it's up to an individual on what they would pay for a collectible. At one point I had every HT Predators and Aliens, and I paid a pretty penny for most of them.

As the saying goes, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I just purchased another P2 Elder from a fellow board member for a nice chuck of change and a figure on top, but that's because I really wanted it and found that is was my best opportunity to do it. I know it's just a "toy" but I love these figures. I have them in my office where I look at them everyday to make me smile.

I see the P2 Elder on Amazon and certain toy websites for $1,300+. I think that's a bit extreme, but hey, if someone can get it for that, why not. It's not worth that much to me, but the deal I just did to obtain another P2 Elder was worth it to me. I had been putting cash away for this figure, so I knew how much it was gonna cost.

I personally love the Predator movies. IMHO Predator is the better movie but Predator 2 is the more fun movie. I love watching both.

I completely agree. I think you hit the nail on the head....and I two enjoy the heck out of the P2 movie.

Well said

This comment is way off. If you are going to hate on anyone, hate on Hot Toys, they release their items in one shot productions, meaning once they are released that is it no more. Clearly the demand is out stripping the supply which is driving up prices. I got into this hobby way after the original AVP releases, and boy would I want to have purchased those Preds for MSRP, but they were out of production already.
