I always cringe at those types of FT threads because really in the end you are trading up for something might be a grail which IMO is bull and it's same thing as selling it for more $$$.

Just out and freaking be a man and say it you don't wanna sell it because you are scared of someone labeling you a scalper therefore you rather trade it for someone else's grail.

I don't have a problem with them doing that act just be upfront about it and don't state you are NOT selling it because you don't want to scalp a fellow freak that is just TOTAL BULL____!

nah, i've traded HT figures for $40 SSC figures before. it has nothing to do with ebay scalping prices for me anyway. "trading up" is entirely relative. and i don't worry about being labeled a scalper since i have a job and i can afford the hobby. i just don't like doing business with sleazebags who need to flip toys to fund their WoW accounts, so i stick to trading with respectable collectors. everybody wins.

I think it's almost certain that we'll see at least one more Predator from this series in the next 12-24 months. Hopefully it'll be the 'Boar' or 'Snake' with that humongous skull we see to the left of their trophy wall.

Elder was a mass produced item (mass produced by hot toys standards) So I'm sure whatever the number is it's more then Guardians.

i think that's where the rub is. back when the Elder came out, "mass produced by Hot Toys standards" may have been 1k-2k figures. now, it's significantly more, and there are at least 1k Guardians made. so, i'm calling it a toss-up until someone can find out exactly how many Elders and Guardians were produced.

Got my Guardian today. He's awesome, and I'm happy for this guy to be my first HT Predator. Just got him today, and already thinking which one I want next.

I love this figure, but I already had something break off. The thigh guard on his left leg (not the smart disc holder) has popped off, and will not stay on very well when reapplied. Has anyone ever had this type of problem with the P2 body? I am new to these figures, and while I'm usually good at modifying and customizing transformers...I'm not really sure how to get this back on and make it stay. Are there any feedback forums that someone could direct me to? I'd really like to put this thigh armor back on permanently, and still retain the ability to pose the legs. My other complaint is that his wrist blade gauntlet is really loose unless I push it up further on his forearm towards his elbow. Does anyone have any suggestions on tightening the grip of the gauntlet on the forearm? Thanks in advance to anyone who can lend me some pointers or point me in the right direction.

Also...just gotta say...I already did the hairdryer mod on his dreads, and they look way better. I swear when he came out of the box he reminded me of a porcupine, or Tina Turner on a bad hair day.

You guys need to get off your high horses. Realize that most of us will do about anything to fund this very expensive hobby. Most people are not "making money" per say, but using any revenue generated from flipping this Pred towards the purchase of new or more beloved figures.

I will do what I want, try punching me in the face...

I actually think its pretty unlikely we'll see another Lost hunter from Hot Toys. As much as i'd love it i don't think they'll do another. Still fingers crossed. If they did i doubt they'd do boar as his mask was already made for their Lost. And it probably wouldn't be Ram cos i reckon his body was the idea behind Guardian (ram body with gort mask). I suppose its likely they'd do the Ram mask and maybe make Snake to go with it or Boar. Either way, i'd be happy just as long as it wasn't another exclusive for the scalpers to line their pockets with.
