It would never be so for me, all to do with which Predators you grew up with....what a strange sentence. But for me it was the P1 and all the predators from P2. They're the sacred ones and everything else is a pretender. The AvP figures hold no interest for me, the AvP:R figures that I do have are the weak links in my collection, and so far I have no enthusiasm for the 'Predators' guys...then again I still haven't seen it.

Hahaha. "which predators you grew up with" sounds so wrong. But yeah i know what you mean, anything after Predator 2 doesnt really interest me. Although i do have Wolf, i think he;s a pretty good design but wouldnt pay lots for him and wouldnt really miss him if he went. Would much rather have more of the Lost hunters than anything else.

My favourite was the elder predator. At least he gave you stuff so it wasn't all bad, antique guns and such.

That is what I said. 1 day. But there were more than 10 thousand hanging around HT booth, not sure how many were qeueing for the exclusives, but I'm betting the majority would like to get their hands on them, and most of them failed, thus created chaos. Otherwise there wouldn't be a mess that includes police and security guards.

What is the size of HT booth? Do your math and let me know how the hell it can have 10 thosand people there? Basic everyone is hanging at ani com and you simply cannot count everyone is interested of getting the fig....

Ditto. I'd love them, even though the majority are just re-used parts from previous designs i'd still buy them cos they look awesome. Probably never happen but hey, one can dream. haha.

I gotta say, i dont understand these people saying they got caught up in the hype and thought they wanted it, then when they got it they were disappointed. I mean, each to their own i guess and everybody's different. But when i first saw this (or even heard Hot Toys were doing it) i just thought "awesome, finally. I've gotta get this" just because i love the design and would love all the Lost hunters. But when i saw the T-100 Sarach Connor, also limited and an exclusive, i just thought "that looks really cool, although its not a line im interested in." I had no desire to buy it just because it was an exclusive. Not really sure where im going with this so hopefully someone can understand what im getting at.
Just seems like a shame lots of people bought it because its exclusive and a lot of people who wanted it because its Gort missed out.

Exactly, at least with scalpers you know why they're doing it. They've seen something popular and decided to make money from it by ripping people off. But for people to say "i didnt actually want it, but everyone else did so i bought it anyway" i dont really understand. haha. Bless them. Like you said, its from a great scene. Ok, the movie was by no means perfect but that was a great scene. Especially as i think people really wouldnt have been expecting to see another predator other than the main one, let alone a whole clan.

You guys need to get off your high horses. Realize that most of us will do about anything to fund this very expensive hobby. Most people are not "making money" per say, but using any revenue generated from flipping this Pred towards the purchase of new or more beloved figures.

That's what I used my extra one for, I never intended on selling it, just wanted to use it to get something else I wanted, in this case the P2 Elder. So it worked out good for me.
