I have a bad feeling about this. Having to use my sister's computer, which she doesn't keep very well maintainted so its "slow," and I'm on satellite internet, so also a little slower. And I'm on the East Coast now too, if distance has any play in the matter. Still going to give it a shot.

1:48 and counting...

ready!

Sadly your opinion doesn't dictate market value. What he spent on the MIB predators is the going rate, he didn't exactly overpay because thats how much they go for and getting them for cheaper would be really hard. It's not crooks on ebay either, even, if someone started bids at 99 cents it would still go around 800, we the collectors have the determined that price based on the simple rule of supply and demand. I'd think non collectors would laugh at the prices some of us freaks pay, but it annoys me when a fellow collector mocks someone for paying that much for a figure. A lot of 2.99 star wars figures from the original line go for over a thousand, in that light paying 800 for a hot toys predator doesn't seem so bad.

:lol:rotfl:lol prefused doesn't understand the concept of appreciated value. You can ramble until you're blue in the face and he'll still feel entitled to pay just over MSRP for collectibles or expect HT to reproduce older figures so that he won't have to. And if it looks like that's never gonna happen, then he'll poopoo the quality of the figures ranting about how they're nowhere near what people are paying for them. Even I've given up trying to explain the concept. Better to just... :ignore:

so does the banner apear it self or do u have to refresh first?

i understand appreciated value just fine, i just don't care about it because i get everything pre-ordered.
and you can't name one figure i've missed out on then complained about. i complain about stuff i've owned.
maybe you should think about why you take it so personally when people don't offer you ebay prices for toys.

Not only are we competing against fellow Freaks, we're also going up against the entire Hunters Lair :panic::thud:

It will be WAR.........for 60 seconds

Don't worry about them, I've deployed attack helicopters to all their houses and workplaces to stop them ordering. And ermm if you happen to hear a helicopter outside yours never mind it...just a coincidence. :)

I don't complain about prices because I understand the concept and if I want it that badly, and that's the going rate, I pay it. Case closed. That's the way us grown ups do it kiddo. :exactly:

that's what pre-ordering is for.
"grown ups" don't pay sucker's prices on ebay and then need to be placated and feel justified about it.

This whole scenario pisses me off, 10000 people scrambling for 25 of these, why cant HT just make more?

It's amazing how every time a predator is involved the same argument brews. At least I'm not involved this time.

I read the predator spec on the sideshow website, and it says some assembley required. So i guess we have to build it ourselves.
