Hmmm, I may be the only one not completely satisfied with this 'fix' HT came up with.
Think about the mechanics at work:
The holes on the chest were designed to accept pegs that are suppose to be pushed directly into them.
Now we will be pushing pegs into them at an angle.
We are dealing with plastic pieces, therefore, there is a very good possibility that either the pegs themselves can bend out of shape or the holes on the chest may enlarge if the BD chest piece stays on the figure for a long period of time.
If the holes on the chest enlarge, what will fitment be like for the normal [undamaged] chest piece? Probably somewhat loose.
Now, it was mentioned that the 'fixed' BD chest piece needs to be pushed in further to sit flush.
That means, as we are pushing the chest piece in place we will meet resistance. Then we must push past this resistance for the chest piece to sit flush. So, once in place this piece is wanting to pop back out.
I'm just not sure how long this 'fix' will last on our figures, is all I'm saying.
