I'm going to wait til more US sellers get theirs in stock. Plus this was from a seller in Japan and wanted like 80 bucks for shipping. I think I can wait a bit to see what else is out there.

Centurion- I was talking more to him too.

VASith- ooh that's not good.

I was lucky with mine. The dealer had maybe 4 or 5 and they were gone in probably 20 minutes. I tried to offer a smaller amount and was declined and by the time I got mine bought the rest were gone. I picked mine up for $250 before shipping. Officially the most money I've spent on a figure.

OK, didn't realize the seller was in Japan.
In that case, there's a very good chance this is the version that has not been fixed.

Good call. I would wait too.

I'm sorry if this has been answered countless times already, but can the Mark VI Stark/helmet headsculpt be put on the Mark IV body?

Oh no, Geil! You caved under peer pressure.

I guess resistance IS futile. ;)

I used to scratch my head at ppl buying more than one but at least those collectors from the past were doing it for collecting reasons and not flipping. I find myself now buying multiples when I really feel the need to display them in different setups e.g. IM MIV, V, VI, T-1000, etc Like in the case of DX02 and DX01 I would consider selling my double only if I no longer feel the need to display the multiples at the same time also due to space limitation but oh well I stupidly parted out a few parts early on so no going back for those two :p
Besides it's not peer pressure that gets me deeper into this hobby.. it's all me MEEEEEEEE :gah:

Yes. You can also put the Mk.IV headsculpt on the Mk.VI body. The two figures are using the same body and neck.

I too wish I could buy mulitples of my favorite figures if only funds allowed for it. For example, I'd love to have a Mk.VI displayed non-damage in flight and the other in battle damage next to my War Machine.

Oh well, maybe in the next life.

I just got my Iron Man IV. This is the first Hot Toys Iron Man I have gotten. Overall I'm pretty happy and I think he looks great. The chest light is VERY bright. I'm not the best at taking picture, but here are a couple of mine.

The only reason I have personally gotten two of a figure is so I can display the multiple options because its something I really want to do. Doing so to sell for money hasn't really entered my thought process on any of the ones I have gotten two of recently or ones I have at least two of coming in the future.

picked up my copy today at CSC. There has been some awesome pics already so i just wanted to take a few quick pics to answer questions i had before.
First off, my figure came with a slight defect. no biggie, i'll just choke it up to a battle damage effect.

I have always been curious if HT actually raised the circular windows on the chest but nobody posted a picture. So here it is. As i suspected, HT only changed the shape of the chest RT and left the main window at the same level, which causes the inner triangle to not lineup with the outer. For shame, Hot Toys. i hope your success is not getting into your heads and resulting in laziness in quality.

Here's a shot of the adjusted chest pins. it is angled sharply compared to the non BD version. i also noticed that the mark 4 chest pins are angled upward. And Yes, the BD version fits perfectly.

Having just the one is great, two or more would be brilliant, for the above reason.

Congrats:yess:
