Sweet collection :clap

I gotta say the mirrors make a big difference and give the illusion of an Iron Man armada :lol

I love how you have Mech Test Tony hovering high above everyone, he is my favorite of all the current IM figures :D

Wow, you've got 3 of every figure, except the Mk.IV. I counted 6 of those! ;)

Great collection Tubes and thanks for sharing. :clap

This figure most definitely has a ton of quality control issues. Spanbauer with:
1. Swappable right shoulderplate was unremovable without razor-blade modification.
2. The hole where the left airbrake panels insert onto the back had to be modified with a razorblade to fit.
3. Had to superglue one of the lifted red panels on the forearm rocket pieces.
4. Had to superglue the glass window back into the battle-damaged chestpiece.
5. The eyesocket illumination seems very faint, almost unnoticeable, in a sunlit environment.
6. Battle-damaged leg armor falls off relatively easy compared to the non-battle-damaged leg armor.

Overall I'd say I got off lucky since I didn't have any missing pieces or chipped paint.
I didn't notice it until today, but I found an unfixable flaw; the piece between his wrist and the removable plates on his battle-damaged arm did not get the glossy paint treatment. It is a flat cherry red instead of the glossy vibrant red.

It's crummy pic, but just got this and love it. I tried to sell that HB for a while, but nobody bought it. I'm glad now. :)

Yes, HB is 1/6, even says so on the product page, for what that's worth. :)

Huh, so does that mean the Hulk PF is basically 1/6 too?

No way will Hot Toys make Iron Monger then. Look at the size of that. The Batmobile flopped because of fragile parts/quality control problems and shipping/box sizes. No idea what state the Bat-Pod was in but it wasn't a catastrophe as the Batmobile since it was long and narrow.

Hot Toys lost a ton of money due to the sizes and complexity of it.

You can wish and wish and speculate because you saw prototype shells but if Hot Toys loses a lot of money in their development and how they are going to package it, it's a no go. Plus a lot of people didn't buy the Batmobile due to sheer size. Iron Monger will be no different.

I'd love an Iron Monger if it was going to happen but if it's not profitable, it's a no go from Hot Toys. Heck even Hot Toys once said years ago due to the size it wasn't going to happen. Prototypes get made all the time for display and the majority never go into production. Regardless of what it is.

Plus the going rate of DX's lately..., that thing would cost in the region of $550 to $650. I mean just look at the size of that. I could guarantee it. I couldn't see a pile up of pre-orders once the price was revealed. It was also the same reason why the Batmobile was delayed and delayed. To some degree they waited it out until guaranteed orders could be fulfilled before development started.

Not sure then, just Googled 'iron monger toy' and it came up pronto. Could be photo shopped light? Or different toy altogether I guess :monkey1

Ok y'all don't have to crush our hopes and dreams of an HT Iron Monger the way he is crushing the mark III in that photo :lol

Goes to answer the question but suddenly

This guy beat me to it. that's a hot toys BD mark III he's stepping on.

But that's what I've been saying for months. much like the Alien Queen, It's not comming.

That isn't a HT Mark III it is the Hasbro 12" figure.
