As an update, SSCs just notified me that they are gonna ship me the missing shoulder disk/spacer that was not included on my BD arm!

It will now be complete!

Got my Mark VI yesterday.
Such an amazing figure, he's my first HT Iron Man. The seemless articulation is great, and the details are amazing.
Some first pics, lots more to come over the next few days/weeks I think.

Got my Mark VI yesterday.
Such an amazing figure, he's my first HT Iron Man. The seemless articulation is great, and the details are amazing.

Thanks. From all the pics I saw the Mark VI seemed the coolest to me, so I was pretty sure this one was the right choice for me.

The Mk.VI will get you to want the rest of the Iron Man figures by Hot Toys.

Yeah he definitely makes you want more, he'd look great posed with Warmachine. But I'm usually very picky with what figs I get, and the only other one I'd want would be a Mark II, but the sculpts (even on the new one) somehow turn me off, the proportions don't look right to me.

Wow this was quick. I was put on the waitlist about three weeks ago I think and the Exclusive converted and then shipped within a day. I forgot to send the signature form so hopefully I can beat the UPS guy home.

Yeah, I bet it's the shoulders that are pushing you away from the Mk.II AU.
They just look too big.

Have finally gotten my Mark VI yesterday after months of waiting (to all the guys still waiting for Tony - HANG IN THERE BABY!)

Of course, am blown away by everything about it (makes my Mark III look decidedly toyish) but there's one major problem I have with it - the hands.

I know it's already been discussed a bit somewhere within these 500 odd pages, but I hadn't realised until I got the figure how limited you are when trying to do a 'repulsor blast' pose. You can't bend the hand up at the wrist at all! You can if you twist the wristguard round but then your Iron Man looks rather stupid.

Is this a problem with the Mark IV also? I'm aware someone tried to 'shave' their wristguards a bit but I couldn't do that to something that cost me £140.

It would definitely be nice to have all the pieces included, however, it's not the worst piece that could be missing.

Yeah, this is also true of the Mk.IV, unfortunately.
I wish there was a way of doing that pose without having to do any irreversible mods.

Agreed. The disk can easily be swapped between arms.

So after putting in two request through Sideshow, I am now being taken care of. I had left a voice mail and then I waited the week for a response. Then I talked to an online chat operator that put in a request and so I waited another week with no response. So finally had a moment today and made another call and got a human. Sent in the pictures and so hopefully they can get me a new piece. My figure came with two right forearm plates.
