Hot Toys – MMS132 - Iron Man 2: Mark VI full spec and pics

Barry, you have two VIIs, right? Can you take a side by side pic with the VII helmet on one and the IV helmet on the other?

I only have one opened. The other one is factory sealed in it's shipper.
But i got my Hologram AI faceplates today, so i took pics of those.
And in preparation for them arriving, i bought two extra MKVII masks/necks for the MKIV and MKVI.

Before I got my MK VII I was thinking of getting one of those custom face plates. When I received him, I decided not to get another face plate. The Hot Toys one looks fine to me. I don't notice the "inaccuracy". In fact the custom eye openings look too thin, like slits. Looks like a Chinese Iron Man. In fact one of those pictures without the light on, it looks as if he has one big uni-eye slit.

It's all a personal preference.
If you like the original, then that's fine.
I love the upgrade mask, and bought two extra MKVII helmets and necks so i could put the new mask on the MKIV and the MKVI.

The stock HT face plates with large eye slits have always irked me so I jumped on the custom plates immediately.

Having the custom clean/BD and stock clean/BD faceplates in hand and on figures side by side, I see a huge difference between the two.

Just got my Mark VI last week Thursday from a fellow freak. I'm actually pretty relieved... This was the last piece and now I actually have Marks 1-7. I got Tony checking him out now

He's actually a really fun figure, a lot of options with the BD parts and base. This is probably my new fav IM HT next to the Mark VII. The helmeted Headsculpt is a nice bonus too since the VII didn't have one

Yes it is, best offering from HT for accessories and a nice dio base as you said. Plus the triangle arc reactor sets it off from the other marks too!
