Lol I just bought the Avengers mk vi, a figure I told myself I would never buy. I found a decent deal and I had extra cash. So now I own the mk vi, mk vi ex and mk vi avengers version...
Congrats, the Avengers version is a grail piece. I love the action the MKVI got(fighting the drones, fighting Thor, jumpstarting the helicarrier). It was a must for my collection.

How much did you find him for if you don't mind me asking? I'm still looking for one.![]()
IM2 Mk VI is the better deal. It started all the craze for battle-damaged iron man.
Totally agree, and still one of my favorite armors. It was like getting a DX version of Iron Man back then, with the base and all the extra parts, and for only around $200.

Keep in mind that a die cast Mark VI is almost certainly on the horizon for release next year....

Its going to run you about $450-$650. Pick up the Iron Man 2 version if you can it comes with more pieces.
Yeah, I've seen a couple of mentions around here about possible die cast remade armors but I haven't seen anyone provide proof or a link to Hot Toys mentioning it. I probably won't get one in a while anyway unless I can find a new one for $375 or less without the pinking panties. Don't see that happening soon though, both the Avengers and IM2 are way overpriced.
I prefer the IM2 version anyway since it has the clean chest plate instead of the Avengers one where it has a prepainted scratch mark on the right. The Avengers head sculpt is pretty nice though.
