Thanks for all of the pics and info! Looks like a really fun figure! I know I'm going to have fun making numerous poses with him! Too bad I probably won't see mine until November. :gah:

He looks so much better without the glasses. Great pictures, Ed.

:duff
The glasses were necessary in some archer poses though.
They make up for the lack of PERS (sideways look). :D

This is one of the figures with the most unhindered articulation,
you'll be able to do tons of poses. The lack of ankle articulation
however can be frustrating at times :D

His boots/ankles will hinder it just a bit though.

Really? I looked up some pics.... She looks good to me. You know something I don't? :dunno

Don't know who that last one is, but she doesn't look like Blunt to me?

Anyway, I think she'd be good as Ms. Marvel. Maybe not my first choice, but not bad either.
It's funny though, she was supposed to be Black Widow first.

The quiver was crazy hard to hook up properly, but I didnt want to use the
alternate straps HT provided. It wasn't screen accurate.
Putting it on was well worth the effort though.

HT also included the rotating mechanism for the arrow tips
at the bottom of the quiver..pretty nice touch

Note for those who are getting this, read the instructions!
The quiver felt kinda fragile because of all the bars and arrows stuffed in it.
The instructions would really help avoid breakages imo.

Great pictures and advice, man! :clap :rock

Can't wait to get mine!

So I've been told...:banghead

I had a quick 'live-chat' conversation with SSC last night and they confirmed that HE will be in stock with them from a short while before the 25th and that if I called up and asked, I could get my last FLEX paid off before the month's end.

Fantastic, though it will be just a few days later than I predicted, 'The Hawk' will be with me very early next month! I cannot wait as all the pictures are great and some of the pictures are just superb!

@SSE, your 'Falling/Grapple' shot from above is really. How much bend is there in the right elbow? Some previous shots seemed to show a slight over-bend to allow the right hand to be more close to the face, as a real archer's would be...what do you say?

I am getting really stoked for this, him and my Nick Mother ****ing Fury might actually both arrive at the same time! :yess:

Do you mean the left elbow? It's quite difficult to get his left hand up near his face when pulling back the bow. I'm not sure how people like OMG achieved it in his pics...but you can certainly achieve the effect in photos using perspective.

Right elbow can bend upto ~ 95-110 degrees. You can easily position his hand
close to his face because of the shoulder joint that's providing extra bend.

This actually places the hand a few centimeters in front of HE's face, and
not along side his chin.

The only problem with this is that it puts stress on the foam/nerf-bullet-tip-like
shoulder pad :)lol), running the risk of having permanent creases.

I believe OMG did it this way along with slight forced perspective.

But don't worry, i'm sure you'll love Hawkeye the way he is!
Awesome figure, I'm really glad I reconsidered getting him :D

P.S. Quick phone pic of my current display:
