I suspect in about a month You'll be able to get it on ebay for closer to around $200 or so. It's barely been released anywhere in the US yet but I suspect in the upcoming weeks there will be more of them hence there being cheaper prices. God I hope so. I do NOT want to have to pay over $200 for this figure, especially considering the headsculpt is only about 89% accurate

I like the head, its the arms that I don't like if not for that I would have order one. Still could but...

I see the waitlist going to be ship very soon.

New to hot toys. Am I screwed for resale value if I open the box. How much would it depreciate. Thanks

Depends if you're in this to make money or enjoy what you buy. If you bought a cheese cake would you eat it or leave it in the freezer?

Have these been sent out to everyone yet? Or just the early birds..no pun intended lol

If you open the box you lose ALL value... but if you don't check the contents then you might have a problem figure that is returned.

You must open the box to check without opening the box.

There is very little point in getting into 1/6 scale figures and expecting them to seriously increase in value. That may happen with certain figures occasionally, but in general terms, if you can sell and break even...you'll have done quite well.

The truth is, a company can release a very good figure and it sell out world wide. Then a few years later, just pull the molds from storage and produce another production run. Not correcting any faults or to make improvements...just a straight reissue. Just like Medicom have just done with DARTH MAUL.

I am not saying that he was worth anything, Medicoms are always way overpriced for that to be right. I am just saying that on the odd occasion where this is happening (BATMAN '89 and still the DX02), the company can just order another production run any time they want. So any exclusivity is lost and the window of opportunity is usually closed very quickly.

Open that bad boy and free him from that cardboard prison.

:exactly:

Take it out and enjoy it

Last one that had better than retail resale value was Avengers Mark VI. Others can still be bought at a cheaper price. :D

If you originally intended to sell it later on, just dont open it at all.
I dont think Hawkeye is prone to having qc issues. Mine was perfect out of the box.
