lol...i had a huge Ht collection up until last April when my firstborn came into the world.I did a mass selloff to cover the fact that it was just me working..now a yr and a half on ive managed to keep most of my star wars 1/6th and now have nick fury,rescue cap and just now Hawkeye!!
what a sweet figure and that quiver set sure is cool.what amazing detail.the Renner sculpt is amazing.

I started a few months ago as well. I started off by buying Iron Man Mark VI and War Machine at Frank & Sons, and Odin and Captain America at CSC (all in the same day - it was a GOOD day). I then scored Ghost Rider on Ebay, built two Deadpool customs and recently added Red Skull at Long Beach Comic Con last weekend.

Now I have Hawkeye, TDK DX12, Joker 2.0 and Loki on order. Definitely adding Hulk and Thor, and hopefully Black Widow.

I completely forgot about Long Beach Comic Con. Looking forward to Wonder Con and SDCC, of course. Red Skull is a great fig. He's next on my list.

TDK DX12 is amazing. Got him last week. The head sculpt is impressive. I'm must looking forward to Loki, although...Cap and Thor are going to be something else. Ah...forget it...I want them all.

We have the same on PO (expect Hulk)...I just ordered Spider-man. Watched the movie again and I just had to have him. They better not mess up the head sculpt.

Black Spidey is pretty awesome. Even the box is impressive.

Ha, in 2012 my Wife and Son and I went to Wondercon (March), SDCC (July), Comikaze (Sept) and LBCC (Nov).

Already booked at the Hilton Anaheim Convention Center for Wondercon 2013 and of course have our tix for SDCC 2013.

Funny thing is, they didn't have diddly squat at SDCC as far as Hot Toys figures. Obviously the Sideshow booth is huge and amazing - but they don't sell anything at the booth. I only saw a handful of vendors selling HT, and they all had the same stuff - Predator figures and 89 Batman/Joker.

Believe it or not, there were WAY more Hot Toys figures at LBCC than SDCC. We're pretty much at the point where we go to SDCC mainly for the movie panels and to stroll the floor a bit. I started collecting after Wondercon last year, so I'm anxious to see if there will be many for sale at this next show.

It doesn't suck to live in So Cal if you're a nerd, that's for sure.

That's very cool that you guys do the Cons as a family. Do you guys dress up?

I'm definitely doing Wondercon and SDCC. I also noticed the lack of HT at SDCC...will definitely put Long Beach CC on my schedule for next year.

Just got the black lycra bodysuit, now to figure out how to sew on the eyes and the spider on the chest. I'm actually thinking about making it red and doing a Thunderbolts Agent Venom like this:

Cool idea. That would be fun to do with your kid. I saw a kid as SDCC in July dressed as Thor. His costume was so perfect. Love kids when they dress up. They are so cute.

True...Deadpool is a bit overdone. Red Venom looks cool. I was hoping to do "Storm" but I'm not sure now. We'll see what I can come up with.
