I thought the show was okay, but SNL has gone downhill so bad in the writing department. Jeremy did great with what he had to work with though. They need to find some writers with a little talent. The Avengers skit was pretty good though.

Maroon 5 :monkey4

The opening skit was horrible and the Californians one was just as bad. They do need better writing. Jeremy was great in that Avengers skit. :)

Avengers skit on SNL is awesome. Make sure not to miss it. Love Hawkeye! :)

Yep...just finished watching it. Funny!

Crap! I missed it! I was at work. I hope someone leaks the skit onto the web so I can view it.... :banghead

Did you see the "standoff" skit? Wasn't that the lead singer from Maroon 5 toward the end of the skit in the park?

Pretty ironic that the best thing the lead singer from Maroon 5 did was act, and the best musical number of the night was sung by Renner.

:exactly: :goodpost:

Couldn't have said it better. :clap

I'm pretty sure everyone got their Hawkeye already. Mine finally arrives tomorrow. I'm late to the party, but at least I made it. :)

I feel like the excitement like a kid does as I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight knowing I"m going to get a super exciting toy tomorrow. lol

Nope, you're not the last. I'm expecting mine tomorrow too but I won't be the least bit surprised if it takes one more day. Shipping routes around here are completely nuts. I've seen packages go from Charlotte (north of me) down to Atlanta (southwest of me) up to Columbia (south of me but northeast of Atlanta) THEN to my locale. Each one of those steps adds a day.

Oddly, this never happens with stuff I order from amazon.com, woot, or newegg.
Go figure. Doesn't matter who the carrier is either.

Yeah I have a similar problem. I ordered mine from ToyAnxiety in Pheonix and instead of going North East, it goes West to California and then turns and finally goes East towards me.

<ahem> I'm still waitlisted, so quityer*****en. ;)

Hoping for some good news this week, I'm tired of stalking my SSC account page.

And IMO the funniest skit on SNL last night was The Californians, but only because all of the actors kept cracking up during it.

Since this is my first waitlisted item ever, do the waitlists only convert M-F 9-5 PST? Or is the system automated so they could come through at any time?

LOL well that clears it up! I was wondering if it's done manually at SSC, which would mean M-F 9-5, or if it's all computerized so it could be any time.

I ordered Hawkeye on 10/2. Someone here recently said that their order went through and they ordered on 9/30. So hopefully that means I'm very close.

Dear lord, I have not seen SNL for a while..has it really got this poor? The golden days really are over for a once great show.

They've been long over. I quit watching it years ago and just wanted to see Renner. I won't be watching it again unless he's either back on, Viggo is on or someone from The Hobbit is on. That's about it.
