this just shows off how great the suit tailoring is

Listing on eBay is very cheap if not free. Low cost, high potential reward. No shame in trying to find a sucker who doesn't know any better.

Listing is free, however if it sells, eBay takes roughly 10% of the price and shipping costs, and PayPal takes another 3% on top of that when they pay you, so remember to adjust your prices accordingly.

ebay's fees are getting out of hand.

It's practically why I quit selling on there because I have to really jack up the price just to get what I would actually want in pocket for the item. It's why I would rather deal with collectors directly or just trade. I would totally spend $250 on Hawkeye and that's about it. Over that is a bit much to me but as it's been said on here already, it's worth to you what you would be willing to pay for it. I could maybe spend a little more for Hawkeye if Hot Toys wasn't hitting me hard this month with Joker, BW, and Thor. I had to cancel Bane sadly. Just to much at one time.

This figure is getting hard to find unless your a Trump.. lol Glad I picked him up on Gohastings..this it was $180..right before Xmas

Oh trust me, I know all too well! But if you can sell something for $400 that cost you less than half that to start with, that's a no-brainer.

Yes, tough indeed.

It's a bit of a two-edged-sword really. A lot of people who did not order originally due to expecting lots of stock still available later on will now miss out due to the greed of scalpers on eBay. Unless HT do another run for this, this looks like it for HAWKEYE until TA-II, but then he will look different in it anyway. But then, there does seem to have been some sort of exclusivity built into parts of the Avengers line. That's rather comforting from a collection point of view. Not the monetary aspect as such - though I cannot lie, that does play a small part - but the fact that your collection might actually have one or two pieces that others might actually want...and you knowing that they are not there to be had from a remaining supply of 20,000 sitting in a warehouse somewhere in Asia.

Also, I like the idea that this is the original line up of Avengers. From now on, anything else will be just more Avengers, or same characters with updated costumes.

I consider myself lucky when I started collecting earlier last year. I jumped on board immediately with the LE IM MKIV and then preordering Hawkeye and Fury. Now, all of those early figures are expensive and hard to come by. Starting out now, would be very hard for me to an Avengers completist.

With everything else POed and several that are nearly paid off with Flex, I'm sitting comfortably and will simply just keep up with future releases.

I also feel sorry for those that try to buy everything IM related. Luckily, I only buy those figures I really like with the Monger up next on my list.

Yeah it's rough right now for sure. I just started with the Avengers but I'm not a completist so I won't get them all. I have Cap and will be getting the core team when they all release (BW, Thor, Mark VII, Hulk, possibly Loki), still trying for Hawkeye but I'm not sure he's worth $300+ lol getting him at a decent price is going to be tough. I'm debating on if patience will be a virtue or a mistake. I wouldn't think he'd go up more than what he's at now but I didn't expect him at what he's at now either.

Frequently check the B/S/T section on this board. Every now and then, someone lists one for sale at a decent price. :wink1:

There's a couple in there but so far not in my price range. Highest I can go with all the figures coming out this month is $275 and so far no luck. I'm sure one will pop up eventually. In the meantime I look forward to more pics in here. Looks like a great figure :)
