Yes that's what I thought, just a couple of posts derailing me for just a moment. I'm very excited about HAWKEYE. He will be my first official AVENGERS purchase. I have HT IRON MAN and THOR figures but they are previous versions.

I like Thor's Asgardian armour and Iron Man's hi-tech battle suit, and even with him being more Ultimates than classic, and though he retains nothing from his classic look (unlike the rest of the Ultimates that retain a certain amount of familiarity with their classic versions) Hawkeye's more no-nonsense costume design makes him look more badass...like he has dressed down for action.

So glad I pre-ordered all of them as soon as they went up. I will do the same with Iron Man and Hulk. And I'll be first in line for a Coulson in case they decide to do it. If I know I want these figures, I pre-order (thanks SSC for payment plans!). I don't want to take any risk and end up having to pay twice the price on the secondary market. Or not having them at all, which would be the case if they sold out and doubled their price. They're expensive as _____k as they are. Better to have them for their original retail price than losing my mind trying to get one for less than $300... Yep, I'm happy with my decision

Half those poses are ____ing awful. How is anyone going to want to buy the figures if they look full-on retard on display? And because some of them are ill-posed, it brings down the whole display and makes everybody look cheaper.

Maybe you should submit your resume to HT as their figure posing specialist.

I don't think they're that bad. And it'd be absurd to me if someone didn't buy the figures based on the poses they're displayed in, especially if you have already seen the official pictures from HT.

I suspect a lot of new eyes coming in and seeing these figures as they are. It's surprising how many collectors don't know about Hot Toys. This forum barely makes up a fraction of collectors out there.

I gess so. Anyway, I think those collectors will focus on face sculpts and costumes. Even if you don't know Hot Toys, these figures look fully articulated and poseable, and it'd be safe to think collectors will not be let down by boring poses. At least I hope they know they can make them look much better.
