Coupon codes can typically be used on Pre-Order items (typically...but there can be exceptions). Terms and conditions of coupon codes should lay out when/how coupon codes can and cannot be used.

So the recent valentines coupon code that's been included in folks recently shipped orders can be used on almost all Pre-Orders. There are exceptions though (which are laid out in the terms and conditions of the coupon...which can be found in the link provided on the card folks are getting).

Living in California sucks because of the tax. Great that this has free shipping but even tho with the coupon code it's brings it about $5 cheaper than other sites shipped..

Well if he had a pre-order, he's still going to get one. It never hit waitlist status so nobody took his spot in the line completely, he just jumped to the end of it.
