Now looking at this I'm going to consider buying this version.
The likeness is so much better than the first.

Rooted hair is an aesthetic choice some don't care for. Everyone's got some things they don't want on the shelf (some want sexy anime pre-teens, some want gruesome, mutilated figures, etc., some don't). Not sure why that isn't a legitimate opinion, except that others are trying too hard to justify their own decisions. Case in point:

Was hoping for hair sculpt but this is still miles better then the first. I will order my first Avenger figure when she goes up for preorder.

The rooted hair is not so bad now-HT did a good job with Babydoll from Suckerpunch. A little water-based jell and the hair can be shaped just fine.They are talking about that in the Babydoll thread.
In fact, since BWidow has shorter hair-it should be easier to manage
