Yeah, Robo is iconic and I will likely get this one.

My time of 1/6 Hot Toys is nearing an end though. Very bittersweet.

I don't get the hate for the sound effects. you don't have to use them and their isn't any big buttons as it's remote controlled, so it doesn't affect the figure much.

And even the NECA figure doesn't appear to have any visible 'speakers' on it. The screw-holes maybe.

I believe the "hate" stems from it being "useless" and "needlessly increasing the price" Let's face it...this guy would be $300 with or without the sounds.

Trying to decide between the RoboCop and RoboCop in chair. But what the heck is with the no full face headsculpt? Planning to pick up the Ed as well. Anyone know if the scale is right?

The diecast is bad news though. It's bad enough we have to worry about the life span these have now with the rubber and plastic. ****ty metals doesn't exactly lift that feeling.

Anything is possible, but if painted and sealed correctly it shouldn't.

Considering the Iron Patriot was $310 and comes with nothing, I feel a little better about this price.

Luke was the HT deal of the century. Even still, this is cheaper and better than the Mark XLII and Iron Patriot. It costs what it costs, people will buy them or won't, if enough people stop buying them, HT will re-think their pricing structure. That being said, I'll gladly pay $300 for this new Robo and $400 for the new ED, but I'm not buying the new Iron Man armors.
