Yeah, the hands on that thing are hideous.
Whats wrong with the EB hands exactly? I think their fine. Especially since they are sculpted unlike Hot Toys hands.
Plus in the movie, Robocop's gloves had that flat black rough texture look to it.

That's all it comes down to boys, with this figure as in the movie, it looks completely different depending on lighting, its an unusual paint job, never owned anything quite like it. I really like the figure, hot toys did a real nice job with Robocop, glad to have it

Ahhh, the age old Enterbay Vs Hot Toys. I remember when it all first started, I think it was the Godfather figures, then the T-800's and now the great Robocop debacle. I say buy what you like and be happy, there's more than enough reviews, photos, and comparisons to have made an educated choice by now. If you still can't figure it out what you like now I don't know what could convince you
I think both are nice figures, with the Enterbay you get a giant figure with motorized holster and head, bunch of robo 3 stuff like a jet pack and unmasked Robert Burke head sculpt.
With Hot Toys you get a diecast talking Robocop 1 with a docking chair if you went that route.
Quality wise I would say Hot Toys wins, I haven't heard the best things about Enterbay, with the hands that fall apart and various malfunctions of the motorized gimmicks.
Right! But...The thing is most people want what they see on screen when it's in hand.
For the figure to accurately reflect what we see in the film, it'd need a paint job that would react strongly to its light source and environment, just as the suit did in the movie. In that regard I think Hot Toys did a fine job, the only issue being that it's just too bright! But, it's still niceNot what it "could look like" with half a dozen leds on it shoved in the darkest corner of the room. Then again, maybe thats just me.
Long story short, I think everyone agrees we'd all be happy if we'd gotten figures that looked like the prototype!
