It is a moot point, no belittling gif is going to change that and thank god your only a Robocop fan so others aren't succumbed to your tripe elsewhere. People wanted a proper coloured Robocop, they didn't get it unless forced with particular lighting. That is not a good reproduction of the colour sorry

If Robocop was straight up shiny silver as you keep vouching for, why has pretty much every other Robocop collectable been at least gun metal or with hints of blue? casting aside EBs recent attempt and when that was revealed everyone was s******ing to themselves about how HT hand got the colour right and EB had don goofed

Why did HT make the protos that colour and not the production silver? i'd suggest laying off the passive aggressive garbage that's been seeping from your mouth for the past 600 posts, that you can't seem to control

But you know no one wants a green one, and that its a "moot" point to even bring it up. Or so I've been told

Not that mine has left Beijing yet (surprise!! not really) I'm almost prepared to open the box with excitement and then want to punch the nearest thing with disappointment after reading some of this thread :lol but IF/WHEN it ever leaves China and arrives here, we shall see.

Does the box say Robocop or Robocop 3? If so then go change the title of the thread on the EB one cause last time I checked it said Robocop 3 so claim what you want, it isn't a official Weller, point given to HT again, sounds like you still like EB more and wont give it up. Do I have to repost your review?

Yeah he is right!
Art figures heavy armored cop is not Dredd, its a figure of the famous artistic impression guy.

People who own both figures say they have both pros and cons, mostly saying the paint is wrong on both armors but better on eb same goes for proportions. Same goes for the mouthplates, EB are not tanned.
That has not stopped me for getting HT too, because it looks cool, easier to manipulate because of its scale.
But as a robocop fan EB is a must, if you can afford it that is.

The opinion of those like popocollector or yankee or whatever who own neither or just the HT means nothing as they dont know what they are talking about. Post all comparing pics you want you dont own the figure hence you cant review or judge it, leave it to the people who do :)

Only after carefully lighting it. Out of that enviroment it looks nothing like the proto in terms of paint. Sure, you can light it a hundred different ways till sunday and make it look that way but at the end of the day you still have a bright silver eyesore.

Personally I like a little show and tell with my figures. People can't appreciate the uniqueness of a hot toy without the full effect of all the working parts, paint, and detail. Soon as this thing leaves the cabinet it instantly becomes inaccurate.

:slap

Why do I need to own a BurkeCop to know I don't want it? Sorry, try again.

The only thing EB does better, and it's marginal, is paint on the armor and the skin. HT beats it in just about every other category.

They've all been pretty disappointing on the sound effects front. If you're gonna include a feature that most of the target audience don't even seem to want at least do it right. 3 measly voice clips on the Enterbay one, a few badly redubbed voice sounds on the HT ED-209 and some poorly edited and incomplete mechanical sounds, and just 5 voice clips on the HT Robocop, one of which is taken from the wrong part of the movie.

The ****ing NECA 18inch figure did better. That had most of Robo's signature lines plus his walking sound effect & hum. The NECA ED-209 had the correct voice from the movie plus the mechanical noises in their complete form.

Popcollector, make sure to let all the heavy armored cop owners know that they do not own a dread fig :D

We all knew this day would come, whenever the HT figure dropped. Comparisons would be made, there would be arguments over which one was the better product.

I could go over to the EB thread right now and find several Freaks ardently defend it and even champion its superiority (even though they're wrong). It goes both ways.

In the end, the figure YOU buy is going to be superior in YOUR eyes.

You will find them saying what Robocop they prefer but you won't see them dumping on the other one. There's a difference there.

Me saying I prefer the EB version is not me sayin the HT one is crap....which is what your are doing.
