i will never, never understand why a certain group of people come to say "i don't care".
they don't bring any info, they don't notice something, they don't compete anything cool. they just say: "i'm dull."
looking for movie decals earlier i found a guy who reverse engineered ED-209 and started to build it, making all details in metal - like another guy already did with Robocain.
coming here, i see "attention attention! i have nothing to say about the figure, i don' care".

It's the same thing as people coming in and complaining about it, and then saying they won't be getting it
I would rather read positive comments about a figure than complaints for reasons not to buy

And crazy research done anthrapoid, not sure why they would put a sandy hooks blurb on a 1987 figure

I'll post some pics later, try to show the greatness of the fig(although my camera and pic taking skills are severely lacking)

Received my Hot Toys ED-209 wednesday and I'm blown away by it.
My smartphone pictures don't do any justice but I just wanted to share my enthusiasm with you guys.

huge wingspan on this fig didnt even get it all in the pic

awesome balance, i was trying to replicate the going down the stairs scene, looking down, toes extended, kinda wish the side toes could go down as well

lol, whatever you say man
a sticker with 2 font on it, which includes a mispelling, isnt going to detract from a figure that is 13'x9'x13'
but hey, you keep on spamming the pages on what a joke this fig is if it makes u feel any better

So who at Hot Toys chose this 2 year old news snippet for an ED-209 label, and why?
Is it a personal call for gun control on the part of someone at Hot Toys, or the company's management?
Is it a satirical, ironic poke in the eye to 'them crazy gun totin' Americans'?

I'd be interested to know what other people think about this.
Here is my accurate reconstruction of the label, which is located on both of ED-209's ankles and on its chest area:

I think this comes with the licence.
In such case RoboCop figure may get something similar.

They DO go down :wink1:
i can only get the front toe to move, the sides are locked in place

edit: tried again, and you are right, mine were just really stiff
im going to have to work on the going down the stairs pose again
thanks!

I DON"T care. This very small portion of "truth" isn't worth my time.
What I am annoyed by is people who can't accept that I don't care about their problems.

With that said, I do think the gun control sticker is bizarre.
It reminds me of that video that all those American actors made to support gun control, yet every single one of them had starred in movies that capitalized on extreme violence and the use of firearms.
