I've read plenty of interviews with actors talking about how cool it was to have an action figure of themselves. But I'd love to see some of their reactions to their HT likenesses, which can at times be so realistic it borders on creepy.

I've spoken to the guy who gets me the figures and he has told me that Hot Toys has given him the month of August for shipping. September is Black Widow and Mark IV..

I think that this figure looks pretty sweet. To be honest with you I'm curious about what the box will look like.

I hope September is true for Mark IV since I won't be in a position to buy one until then. It'll be my first HT figure. Hopefully War Machine doesn't become too expensive though because he'll be my second and I won't be able to get him until after IV.

Is your dealer hong kong based? ..if so isn't that a little late for warmachine ..i thought he would be out sooner.

Yeah my dealer is Hong Kong based. I just asked him the other day cause I'm really itching for him and he gave me those months as for when Hot Toys told him. For all I know they might ship them to him August 1st.

War Machine and Whiplash (I believe) have a end of 2nd Q / beginning 3rd Q release date. I doubt either make end of 2nd Q therefore, late July / early August sounds right.

I imagine more info will be forthcoming at Comic Con. That said, I fully expect HT to run this line into next year until the other Marvel films drop and perhaps beyond. HT may announce Mark V and Mark VI info then when you think your done...WHAM. HT announces Whiplash v2, battle-damage versions of WM and Mark V, VI.

Hey everyone, got a message from Sideshow saying my waitlist is being converted for War Machine and if I don't want it I need to let them know by tomorrow the 11th. So I guess he will be shipping pretty soon. My Mk lll BD is in the mail and I can't wait to see him. Take it easy.

I never used their wait list on a pre-order however, I don't think you being accepted has anything to do with the release date. (I hope I am wrong).

I think it is more about either cancellations or addition size being sent to SS.
