thanks.
you cant rotate his forearms. just his shoulders and wrist.

i think this is an immaculate figure & im gonna purchase him without hesitation, i dont think that hot toys will make a battle damaged verison of him, if they took this much time to fix some defects with the figure im assuming that this will be the only product that they'll be releasing of him. as for the articulation...its sufficiant, hes a big bulky suit, not a gymnast.
thanks.

See, now that's just wrong.
If I get this figure and he can't simply extend his arms out...I'm selling it.
That's his main pose. I literally just noticed how slyly they hid that in the promo pics:
Look, the tops of his forearm gauntlets can only face upward if you make him lift his arm sideways.
It's hard to explain...grr, but it's an unacceptable piece of missing articulation.
Crap,
let me get this straight, he doesn't shoot real rockets and bullets.....wait just a ****** minute here, AND you're saying that he doesn't even fly?
Hot Toys, you disappoint me once again.
maybe because in the movie he cant turn his forearms
He can. He extends his arms out, and the guns are at the side, and he crosses his arms over. I saw it four times, I know what I'm talking about.
That pose, but with the gun at the side of his arm.
The guns are clearly at the sides.
But that is not rotating only the forearms, it is like the whole arm that is rotated at the shoulder.
Hey Hydeous I wonder if you could confirm something for me. Are the shoulder joints on WM designed the same way as the shoulder joints on the previous IM figures? (Mark II, III, BD)
Or are they different? At a glance they look a bit different in how the arms attach to the torso.
But that is not rotating only the forearms, it is like the whole arm that is rotated at the shoulder.
thats what I see as well.
dude, if you are happy with your 3 inch hasbro, then so be it.
I think they are designed the same way, except that it has been perfected. sturdier ball joint, and I think the diameter of how far the arms can rotate is expended. It looks natural now, where the old Mark 2 etc you have to futze it a bit to make it look proportional to the rest of the body.
I somehow feel like the presence of WM is on par with the statue 1/4 version of him.
My 3 inch War Machine can do it. You're telling me a $175 Hot Toys War Machine can't?
I'm honestly just curious. If you're all fine with that, I respect that, but I'm cancelling mine if that's the case. The arms on my friend's Iron Man figures (Hot Toys) rotate 360, so I assume the War Machine ones can. If that's not the case, bad enough, but the fact that you can't get him into his most famous movie pose? That's just unacceptable.
Thanks for the info. Congrats, btw.
